The entire plan of the game was to give squad players game time and getting them fit . This was too see who needs further developement, who needs to be loaned out and who needs to be released.

Rigg is a serious contender to start in centre-mid,. Despite being on other clubs' radar. Ekwah is down the pecking order for us. We'll see what he's made of this season.He might have the talent but ther's question marks over his determination for me. .

Speakman out. Did you see his signings the other night at Preston. Also there is no grand scheme of things at Sunderland so stop kidding everyone. Three years of the infamous plan and where are we?
