I’m 14 and I actually babysit, I don’t baby sit 1 yr old or younger. it can be kind of hard. I babysit 3+. On average I make 50 dollars a DAY. Sometimes I make 20-30$ if it’s only 3 hours. If it’s around 5-6 hours, u can maybe get paid 50-60 or maybe even more, but when u do applications u have to know how to do CPR. And u have to be able to help with math if they are stuck. U have to know how to make food if they didn’t make any. And u have to know how to change a diaper. So it’s pretty hard, but definitely worth the money

As per my opinion a 12 year old themselves need tutoring ....At age of 12 I don't think so they have enough knowledge to be shared with others also it's actually the age to focus on our basic concepts about studies....So I think it's for the kid's good why their parents won't let them do it ....

Hello everyone! This is what I do! I pet sit and babysit with my sister who is 15 For pet sitting if I go to they’re house it’s 20$ for a visit( it doesn’t matter how many animals) A example if it was a three day job for two visits a day I would charge 120$ For babysitting I usually babysit ages 2-5 It can be either my house or their house. I charge 10$ an hour for 1 kid and an additional 2-4 $ for other kids. I make good money and it’s really fun but can be tiring! For driving to pet sitting jobs I do pay my mom because I can’t drive, I usually give her 10% because the jobs usually aren’t far.

At the age of 11, I was babysitting three kids. A 1 and a half yr old, a 5 yr old and a 7 yr old. I have to say, these kids were extremely difficult. I only got paid 5 bucks an hour, I babysat for five hours almost every day. I dont recommend babysitting at such a young age.
