20:05 - "He wants to fly with the birds and then he wants to hang out with the angels. Either way, he's flying." The beauty and poetry of Mike's insights are truly inspiring. He really is on another level
The words spoken on that moment where so so deep and real. Then thinking what this guy has been true when he told that Discovery story. Mike gave him exactly the words he needed to go forward in his healing process. Like he said Mike journey and the place he's in right now spirituality, inspired him to start his journey and now was the right moment to sit down and talk. This podcast is a true blessing and they keep getting better and better 🙏
“When people really get in tune with themselves they get in trouble because they can’t handle their power” Mike really understands life deeper than most people
@@creamofthecrop5868 Basically if you achieve a higher level of consciousness it appears that you become far more responsible for the choices you make. God starts being VERY noticeable. For anyone who's reading..... the weighty matter is your sexual fluid (I believe).
Mike Tyson is literally a genius. Who would've thought a tough kid from Brooklyn who would become one of the greatest boxers of all time and then become enlightened on a level that most wish they could be.
@@Western91 what’s the difference…..it’s still free. I watch organ just like I watched it here no difference…..except there I don’t get distracted by dummies in the comments……like you
@@AmeekPal123 He was talking about the afterlife and people who have already crossed over who are possibly watching your every action, that they represent your opinion of yourself, that was really deep...
I love how Tyson is always trying to drag the discussion into very deep levels talking about ego and death. He is going to be remembered as Gandhi and all the other great thinkers when people realize the quality of this content.
Karl Marx said something similar: “The tradition of all dead generations weighs like a nightmare on the brains of the living.” Mike has done a lot of reading which leads me to believe that he probably got this quote from “The Eighteenth Brumaire of Louis Bonaparte” by Karl Marx. It’s very deep to just spontaneously drop into conversation for the first time although I like to think it’s Mike’s.
God gives the greatest battles to his greatest warriors. This was a life changing episode and we get to see real men give real feelings. Salute to you Mike and Eben. Keep them coming!!
My pen ran out of ink because I was writing down so many valuable gems! This is one of the best interviews I've ever heard. It's chock-full of well-earned wisdom. Thank you for making this available to the world.
I was listening to this laying down falling asleep in bed. I was drifting off when he said that. I seriously sat up, turned on my light and got up to write it down. Going through some personal things right now and that one hit me hard. Stayed up and fished this podcast. I couldn’t sleep on it.
@Sam707BFBC that was not long after mike took the toad. Its fascinating how much the death of the ego can change a person. It humbled mike in the best possible way and hes a much better person for it
I took my blood pressure before and after listening to this podcast. Before 133/80, pulse 83. After: 123/80, pulse 68. Conversations like this mean so much to me. Mike has such a way with words I can’t even explain. I am very thankful I get to live on the same planet with this man.
This was the first podcast that has ever made me cry. The way Mike can dig deep into your emotions with his empathy is truly astounding. I have nothing but respect for this man.
In Perú, the ancient people in the highlands believe every mountain is a spirit, they call them "Apus" guardian spirits and everytime you are about to climb you need to ask permission to enter to their territory and to pay respect to their majesty, they control the balance and if you acknowledge them they will guide you.
Without a doubt one of my favorite episodes. The way they connected at the end and Mike just let him know it’s ok to hurt sometimes. That’s so beautiful. And what some of us need to hear.
When Mike '' burst on to our screens '' in the 80s, we knew we were watching something very special..........now on youtube in 2020 we know we are watching something very special.
01:08:35 Goddamn!!! It's unbelievably hard to live life so appreciatively but fuck do I need to!!! 01:10:49 Absofuckinglutely!!! It's like Mike's telling my life story...
What a Great Ep...Never Heard of Joby Ogwyn before,But i can say he a good person,The Ending got me tearing up...........Mike Tyson is the man....Bless
Mike Tyson drops some real deal pearls of wisdom in this podcast wow. Clearly an intelligent human being battled his way to the top of boxing, fought addiction. Learnt lots about history. The last message I think is true for all of us...love is the purpose of life's lesson. Life is hard full of good and bad. God bless Mike Tyson. History will not just look at you as one of the best boxers ever but also for your battles and wins and philosophy too. Not sure if it's Cus' teachings, DMT trips or philosophy books, Koran.. where do these pearls come from? Amazing none the less. The world needs to know this. Our kids need it. Too much hate, fear and anger in the world.
man the that toad mike took is the real deal i mean the way he got changed dramaticly with deep vision and wisdom is inspiring i am addicted to this pod cast i hop we get more of it somthing like two or three guests a week would be acceptable with various guest types such as scientists and philosephers some one can handle what i call tyson deep ocean. i also have alot of respect to Eban because he dont intrupt and let mike and the guests talk and intract with each other without intruption thank u sir (Eban) hotboxin > JRE period
Mike Tyson makes grown men feel like it’s acceptable to cry. As boys growing up we are told to lock up our emotions so that we can become men and then the greatest warrior to ever exist helps you let it all go and tells you it’s okay to feel
Man there's absolutely nothing more life changing moments when you watch a podcast like this with 3 people that truly know the real world and not have their heads up their asses like the majority on the planet ....this is a good one, very nice upload👌
This podcast is so dark but sooo beautiful and nothing but truth ,Mike is a life teacher he’s been through it all his wisdom ,happy to be watching this when you guys speak it’s 💯 from the heart and helping each other’s journey , bless you guys🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️
All i can say is "damn" mike. you break it down brother......got me and my man laughing and my man crying on here. much love Joby, Mike and Eben. Mike is hilarious in a good way. Salaam.
A 50 ish, tyson in control of his emotions = Unstoppable , like you all, ive watched this guy my whole life, people taking there slice of him, Bet ya a dolla they wouldn't try it now a day thats for sure, God bless ya mike. 🎈🎈
@@serengeti4027 joe can be too faced as well.. I noticed that..he changes depending who he speaking to or about...Joe n mike. ..2 totally differnt people.. and personalitys, and I never saw people so at ease n havin.a laugh ..plus the atmosphere n real talk...on hot boxing.. nah .. I prefer you guys. .great duo.. and the variety of different guests..
@@lilgreeneyesp637 I agree w you about Joe's approach depending on how he perceives the person, which is hypocritical - if you don't respect the guy, don't call him. The reason I said I'd like to see him on JR is I'd like to hear more of his stories
Mike says some powerful stuff. "We keep fighting for the past." There are circumstances that the past created and make it hard to fix the present. Especially if someone is trying to keep your past as close as possible to the past while your trying to move foward for the future.
Really loved this episode you can tell Mike loved this dude really strong and this guy had a lot of heart and balls and Mike saw it in and clicked straight away. Love Mike Tyson he is as real as they come. Love to meet him be the best experience
I remember watching Joby on the discovery channel years ago. I admired the hell out of him. The fact that Mike has him and the diverse group of guests is awesome.
Love Mike, love how he is always trying to improve his life.. Eben is his perfect partner, clearly only wants the best for MIke. Eben him is a very interesting guy, he is socially intelligent beyond his years. Great podcast
I wish I was at the same stage in life mentally as Mike 😢 being in and out of prison most of my adult life it’s hard when your a violent person in general to see things this clear , honestly just listening to him speak such wisdom really keeps me calm and gives me really good direction in life he doesn’t even know he is helping people who are just like him .
