Mark T. “Coch” Cochiolo has over 30 years of Naval Special Warfare experience ranging from Special Warfare Operator, Operational Tester, Combat developer, Officer In Charge, Training Officer and Weapons Instructor.
Coch has four operational SEAL tours of duty to the Western Pacific (WESTPAC) under his belt and has spent eight years as an assaulter and breacher on the US Navy’s tier one counter-terrorist unit making operational and combat deployments to hotspots in Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

Coch mentioned living near the restaurant "McClintock's" as a kid. So did my wife. Turns out they lived on the same street and played together. I've been watching him on Tactical Hyve and didn't realize my wife knew him. Small world.

Did Filipino arnis as a kid in addition to Kenpo. Wound up getting surprised after many years of training getting my black belt. They werent big on promotions and it wasnt routine. Its always sick to hear about another person who trained in this style of martial arts! Hell ya

I went to boot in Orlando early eighties, and the first aid instructor was only survivor. He was a Navy corpsman with Marines. Only he survived the attack. Was left for dead and shot through face .

You don't want a buffer tube in water, it will fill with water, which does not compress and will cause the weapon to malfunction.

Thanks, I feel validated now for building my 16" AR-9 and 300 BLK. Although not necessarily for anything besides the fact that I can, and I wanted and the AR9 is fun to plink with! Why not have one in every caliber?
