Danica, you're a legend....Jocko is a legend....listening to these two it's hard to imagine what they have accomplished....They're so down to earth, humble, brilliiant, bad-arse and rational....they're not projecting, "HEY LOOK AT ME"....True American Patriots!!! God Bless both Jocko and Danica
One of your best Danica! Before immersing yourself in the true understanding of American politics, consider 1st learbing the affects that any system without the "Rule of Law" suffers. Rome and most others fell in the absence of the "Rule of Law."
Fantastic interview! Jocko's insights into leadership are profound, emphasizing the importance of nurturing someone's potential in a safe yet challenging environment. This approach allows individuals to discover and affirm their own capabilities. Ego, as rightly pointed out, is often the biggest obstacle to growth and success.
Yay. I look forward to listening to this. I don’t follow Jocko Willink. I listened to a couple of his videos quite awhile ago when my son mentioned him to me. I liked listening to him but there is so much content available now that I forgot about him until recently. Recently I have wondered, multiple times, what Jocko Willink thinks about what’s going on in the world. But I haven’t followed up on my wondering. I will definitely listen to this interview.
DP! Ok hell of a pleasant 180 switch from dogs to Jocko ! Yes ! Ok back on track - thanks for this !!! Jocko has been on rotation just as you are . Great interview and fit . Love watching your guest list grow diverse
Jacko’s definition of weakness is based on his life journey. It has been my personal experience that Emotions create a balance within a person. We need the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine within. I have six planets on the Fire element in the first house. I have use strength all my life and always pushing myself , discipline and getting shit done ignoring my emotions. This caused me to have health issues. I am now learning to listen to my emotions to allow balance in my life. Debora Silverman advice to allow my water and fire to flow as they need to.
I'm not sure he meant to ignore emotions. I took it as don't be triggered by them. Learn to respond vs react kind of thing. No, ignoring one's emotions is never healthy.
Living in north Dakota and the stuff ive done through the seasons of weather I'd love to go through hell week although there are parts i don't think i could do as long as you got a good team it would be a great challenge
This was an excellent interview. I am working on my Certified Flight Instructor rating right now, and part of that process is Fundamentals of Instruction. I saw a bunch of those fundamentals in this talk. Hazardous attitudes, defense mechanisms, teaching to the needs of the specific learner, and admitting when you're wrong as an instructor or leader. I like Jocko's way of dealing with an arrogant person too - raise the bar, give them a challenge that might be too much for them to humble them. I've noticed that SF guys who are really successful in life seem to have learned a bunch of these lessons organically throughout their careers.
so cool to finally speak out and let ppl know how (i believe, too) every1 should be a cross between Independent and Republican. Question and speak about EVERYTHING, even drs, lawyers and politicians.
1:07:15 = "The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without a fight." - Sun Tzu, 'The Art of War' I highly recommend to anyone to read that book. It has a lot of great passages that can apply to everyday life.
We've not participated in a "just war" since 1812 when Britain invaded us and burned down the White House. We should *not* have gotten involved in WWI and we definitely should *not* have entered WWII. Japan was our friend until we decided to undermine them on behalf of the British Empire.
Fascinating interview.... So much respect for Jocko and all who sacrifice it all for this country... Great ending as well and I agree with your affirmation
I did not know you did podcasts. This was a fantastic episode, I am subscribed now and BTW I love you! I worked for GoDaddy when you came to our Christmas party. Take care and I hope you are happy and well.
Bravo!!!! Exact opposite of Trump and a true bad ass. There is A common thread among great football coaches and this man. players will run through walls for such leaders. Why, because they are honest, trustworthy, truly care , and are humble
When he says "big ego" and Danica lights up.....yeah, she KNOWS she has one. Funny, that part of the conversation....she wants to know why SHE cant solve problems.
Thank you, the AG1 is great! The Military teaches strong respect for others and personal discipline towards authority, Leave no man behind is the most beneficial thought process drilled in to everyone. Our differences come only from the vastly different experiential paths we have walked. Any 2 people that take every step from birth together will be and think almost identically. I tend to think that everyone can be saved with the right experience to vector their direction going forward. A great leader I consider as a Totalizer that knows the strengths of his team members and takes all the ideas into consideration and incorporates as many as possible into the plan.. Great video! I thoroughly enjoied the topic and presentation. I am so grateful to have found this video. Golf, hahaha, Thinking can rule your shot, so the last thought before any swing movement should be JUST RELAX,,,,, SWING! Tension is a shot killer. Great Insight! Dont make a decision until the correct chouce is obvious. When in doubt, do nothing and wait until there is no doubt in the decision.
Hacking computer systems and using it to manipulate info. Getting into banking info for example. Which btw is already done on a small scale. The next 10 yrs will get worse. Even getting into security companies that are supposedly protecting your info. Everything i just typed is now coded and monitored because thats the demonrat way. Believe or dont its not some conspiracy theory. Which ofc is code (or to me known as a type of gaslighting) for some1 else who wont use that phrase as a way to try to make you believe its not true. @@TravisGlantonTheFH-324Sa-un8lu
What would be inspiring would be a brain capable of understanding the CAUSE of gravity. Here it is: “The Final Theory: Rethinking Our Scientific Legacy “, Mark McCutcheon for proper physics. Does Jocko have that “mental toughness “, or Danica or any other human on the planet? Let me know.
A comment about made in America on products , most products are made in another country , that takes sending them materials , shipping . Then the product is made and shipped back . All that money for nothing and time ! Tell me why we can’t do this here in America for less? I think it has a lot to do with getting more taxes stacked on ! But if we don’t have to pay another country money to make things and they will not have money to build the Bombs they will just be broke ! So get the companies back to America ! The bad part is why it is so disappointing is that 4 months of the hard earned money is going to projects and it makes people not taking care of their families ( that control has to stop ) l watch this channel all the time ! Put them billions of dollars into our infrastructure
YOU HAVE THE TECH, THE MONEY, EQUIPTMENT AND RESOURCES. UNFORTUNATELY, IF YOU LOOK AT VIETNAM AND THE GULF AS JUST 2 EXAMPLES OF FRIENDLY FIRE, YOU CERTAINLY DO NOT HAVE THE PERSONNEL
Wish my talent with a rifle marksman could of been used in the military they could of made me even better heck maybe a sniper. laws say I'm a criminal and can't join the military
Thank you Danica. If (or when) Jocko decides to run for president, he has my full vote. He embodies what a compassionate but firm and strong leader that every man can strive to be.
Wow Danica your skills as an interviewer are honed to a fine edge. I have some issues with Jocko being a "product of the "elites" and used as a "tool" for the advancement of the E'lites agenda and NOT for the Freedom of the people based on undeniable FALSE FLAGS. However, his message and his work ethic have validity in the real world. Thank-you for the open conversations. You gave me an opportunity to look at Jocko in a new light.
He couldn't of said it any better starting off the video opening up with the discipline of going too war and when its only benefit is too save lives always avoid war all it does is take, it takes lives, money, resources destroying economies like businesses for example were does this $845 billion DOD budget become beneficial too the country it serves you think with spending that kind of money the investment would have a hell of a return profit that is beneficial. Example// if you cut a tree down, you plant two or more.
Does anyone besides me imagine a world where people dont even think of weapons⁉️ Its in me to become a straight savage, but i dont want to. I dont understand the "need" for conflict, like over what. Invisible lines that mark a territory as "ours," revenge, jealousy, a fear of boredom, a NATURAL RESOURCE, just plain blood thirsty, etc. All the shit to work with gifted, humans decide to build bombs. Nothing goes with ya when ya leave, but your decisions. Is this hell and its ok to find a reason to kill other people⁉️
@@Journal2Awakening What if they did their "war" shit with paint⁉️ Like tanks and missiles and all the shit. We could actually watch it and the winners would be easily definable...❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎😁
We've not participated in a "just war" since 1812 when Britain invaded us and burned down the White House. We should *not* have gotten involved in WWI and we definitely should *not* have entered WWII. Japan was our friend until we decided to undermine them on behalf of the British Empire.
Would be nice, not sure human nature allows for that though. It is just like Jocko says, there are some instances in which war is the only way, but you better be damn sure about it before making the call.
This podcast is such a well thought out conversations. In addition Danica’s F1 commentary is top shelf. I must admit I wasn’t a huge fan of her racing antics, aggression and demeanour at times but she has showed such a different, more placid side and it’s super impressive. She is so well read. Her understanding of the world, life experience and surprisingly skilled listener are such great skills too have.
This came from my YT feed, and I had no context; I assumed it was Jocko's because he was on the left, but also because he has a podcast, and I didn't know Danica did. And then I see 12 scary knives on the table. It took me a second to realize it was Danica's PC.
Hey Bee, (News Flash) You are rock’n the same color top as my 87/88 5 speed 528e BMW with 5 series rims (That I’m doing a complete restoration on) Sincerely, All Black Leather Interior
I swear listening to jenco just made a lot of people sober. He's like the antidote. He's the cure but he has a strategy. He mentioned make better choices. It was really that simple and they will add up
