(edit; more inclusions) - you can sacrifice your children to some dark god that turns them into doves - there are literal ghosts in the mines along with undead and shadow people/demons Yay, stardew valley... land of hopes and dreams. Woot!

It's also worth noting that in the military, a "Jody" is a term used for a guy who sleeps with the wife/girlfriend of a serviceman while they're deployed

When you fall in love with Stardew Valley's inhabitants but then DF ruins everything for you

I also find it interesting that Jodi's room is a single bed, doesn't bode well for a thriving couple.

Isn't Sam in his early 20s? I always assumed that the only bachelors that are well over 20 are Harvey and Shane, Harvey being in his late 30s, early 40s and Shane being in his early 30s. It actually makes sense that Sam is in his early 20s or even younger. Vincent is somewhere between 5 and 8, Jodi might be around 40+ as would be Kent. She herself said they rushed into things, she didn't have a chance to be youthful. So let's say they were 19 to 20 (or we could be a little more drastic and say she was 16 and Kent was 18, just drafted), they were young, he soldier and she full of fanciful feelings, she got pregnant and they had to marry (what else to do in a small town). Vincent came a lot of years later when they were actually ready for a kid. I wouldn't actually put Jodi in the depressed bracket, but in the midlife crisis one, BUT I'm no expert so yeah.
