In this video, the first of my Japan Youkoso series looking at the sights and of Japan I take a look at the local paradise beach to me, Jodogahama Beach just to the north of Miyako City in Iwate prefecture.
So named as 'Pure Land Beach', this little oasis is a stunning place to explore any time of the year along the Sanriku Coast in Japan's stunning Tohoku region.

It looks a nice peaceful little place. The water looks so clear too. Definitely a spot to get some sunset photos at, if the sun set is in the right place for that. Those rock formations with the trees on top would make an awesome silhouette.

Error 42 it’s definitely peaceful and in theory sunrise would be better and the sunset will probably be too far over but I’m sure I’ll be surprised as the year progresses :)

Just beautiful! I can imagine you will spend some time there! I can see where the creators of Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild for the Switch took inspiration from!

10 Minute Amiga Retro Cast oh I will be! I work close to here on Thursdays so the plan is to take a change of clothes and change at work and head down when the warmer weather is here to stay :)
