Joe must be thinking "Lovely thought. I will write more about an old white man who blackmails innocent girls and tourchers southern travelers and get more popular, right untill the SJW community notices me and appreciates this lovely wrighting. Body found floating by the docks..."
Although not a fan of the short-story format; I ADORED "Sharp Ends". Simply loved the vignettes that fit between the existing stories. Well, done, Joe; splendid work.
If you have read these books I urge you to go back and listen to the audiobooks narrated by Steven Pacey they elevate the story and the characters considerably. You wont regret it if you are a fan of the books
I truly loved The First Law books, however I kinda hated the ending mostly because how it ended for Logan and West, but also because that bitch Bayaz never got fucked like he should have.
The fate of West was so horribly depressing to see such a likeable character just withering away. Glokta's only friend :(. But then it made me hate Bi-az even more so I guess that's a good thing...
As for Logan I actually liked that his ending is kind of open for interpretation (at least for me am currently reading the heroes so don't know if maybe he will be mentioned again). So he is either dead or went away from the fighting and found peace away from the north and his past.
@@marianv7413 I assume you have read future books past The Heroes by now (one of my favorites) but you will learn more about Logen's fate in future books
