JOE ALASKY - GLEASON IMPRESSIONIST 

I recorded that 30 yrs ago on VHS tape. I ripped it to digital about 15 yrs ago. Those tapes are long ago disintegrated, so that is it. What you see is what you get.

GOD BLESS JOE ALASKY. I remember watching Joe on a PBS show in the late eighties called Comedy Tonight. I laughed myself into a stomach cramp, and 30 years later, it still hurts so good. I will look for more of Mr. Alasky...he supplies the laughter this f--ked up world needs...go Joe!!!

They should of let this guy play in the 2002 movie,... so far the best Gleason impressionist I could find.

Among his many accomplishments, Joe Alasky played Plucky Duck on Tiny Toons and replaced the late David Doyle as Grandpa on the Rugrats.

FUN FACT: Alaskey performed Jackie Gleason's dialogue for the the remastered Honeymooners Lost episodes because Gleason didn't want to do it himself. R.I.P. Joe Alaskey (1952 - 2016)

Pretty damned scary Gleason impression. Not only the identical voice, but the exact mannerisms and appearance.

Gold! He seemed so comfortable, like he knew he was great and was just enjoying the experience. Wonder what prevented him from real stardom. I guess impressionist all end up in Vegas...that's it.

I really liked his Jackie Gleason and Jack Nicholson impressions! Nailed them.

I remember that one on Letterman. This guy is just tops.

He was amazing. My brother and I saw him do this same routine on Letterman (maybe this actually is Letterman?) in the late 80’s. He was so great we went and saw him live at the Comedy Cellar. RIP Joe!

Boy the way Glen Miller played Songs that made the hit parade. Guys like us we had it made, Those were the days. And you knew who you were then, Girls were girls and men were men, Mister we could use a man Like Herbert Hoover again. Didn't need no welfare state, Everybody pulled his weight. Gee our old LaSalle ran great. Those were the days.

Your favorite voice is stinky from casper and plucky from tiny toons adventures and daffy duck and bugs bunny from looney tunes and rugrats character.

This was amazing despite some of the negative comments by morons who have probably never accomplished a talented task in their pathetic lives. I'm sad to learn this man has passed away.
