I agree with Joe. Game 6 1986 against HOU remains the top non-World Series Mets game of all time. The great thing about that game was it was a weekday day game in the pre-internet, pre-text era so everybody was standing around radios in offices all over the City.

Thing that worries me the most and that’s giving me flashbacks to 2015 against KC is not being able to throw any base runners out. Alverez deserves to play with his bat and the way he calls the games and works with this staff but he is going to have to make that priority 1A going into next year and the rest of his career. We can’t have everyone running all over us turning every walk or hit into a double or even triple.
