Joe was a great guy. My best friend and I would regularly see him at Funny Fellows. He was also a regular customer of mine at Radio Shack at 43rd Ave and Bethany Home Rd. We always had fun conversations. Oddly enough they were never about music. I'm fortunate to have known him. R.I.P. my friend !
Sometimes to this day you can manage to catch the entire concert this performance came from on Maricopa County's Community College public access cable channel MCTV.... Joe was a truly, mind-blowingly talented artist, could play over 60 instruments... And one helluva cantankerous character! Miss you, man! Be at peace.
RIP bro...oddly enough I found Who fears the devil by him on cassette the same year a couple months after he died. Thats how I found out about him and not I intend on finding all of his physical recordings no matter how hard it is.
