About Me
My name is Brandon Herrera. I'm the owner and operator of The AK Guy Inc, a 07 Firearm Manufacturer based out of Fayetteville, NC. I also co-own Stark Media Group, and designed the rifle known as the AK-50.
I've started to dedicate this RU-vid channel above all to have fun, but also as a way to document my entrepreneurial journey for the next few years as I try to grow my companies. Hopefully, people can learn from my example, successes, and failures.
Either way, I'm having a lot of fun with it so far, and I hope it's just as fun to follow along!

I think there were talks of disbanding the ATF after Ruby Ridge but the FBI deflected the blame to the FBI for Waco even though the FBI showed up after the confrontation started..

It's because the National Firearms Act of 1934 (aka the NFA). It's an outdated piece of legislation but it started the rule about rifles needing a 16 inch barrel.

The problem the an94 had was that it had a pulley system that was supposed to help increase the cyclic and fire rate of the gun... a lot of complications arose from disassembling, maintaining, and reassembling the weapon. Plus having a chance for the pulley wire snapping in the middle of a fire fight isn't really good for the users health.

AN-94 would be pretty sweet for a topic, the only time I've seen that gun in pop culture was in STALKER way back when and I loved it. Took me a while to find out what it actually was since they changed the name for the game (had the german version back then) and I never heard of the gun otherwise, so I was a bit surprised to learn it was actually a prototype russian assault rifle irl.
