Yeah. Cognitive deterioration tends to accelerate as it progresses. Stress can also be an aggravating factor, and there's no shortage of that in the office of the President. There might not be anything left of the man he once was by November. There's not much left now. He needs to go for everyone's sake including his own. If we're speaking of policy popularities, abortion restriction is massively unpopular- gallop polls showed that 35% wanted Roe reversed while a majority did not. A majority (over 50%) support that it should be legal "in most cases" and only 12% say it should be completely illegal. In March, abortion was the top issue for 1 in 8 voters. I don't see those people voting for the person who overturned Roe, they'd rather let the people behind Biden run things

Maybe. But Dems are massively more intelligent politically than the GOP. Conservatives are on the right side of history, but liberals are much, much smarter in the realm of public perception. Panic will galvanize the base. The GOP will limp along like always and let elections be stolen, etc. The Left has always been the boss when it comes to manipulating the electorate.

Here's the problem with the argument against Trump and the fear from the democratic party: If Trump wins that means he was voted in, by the people. He's not seizing power, this is what the people wanted / decided. I think people are far more fed up with how things have been going (housing, inflation, etc.) than the media is giving credit for.

I think they will try to replace Harris and keep Joe. After the election they will force him to resign. That’s of course, assuming they win the election. I don’t think it will work, but think it’s their only play.
I think they let the medical crew in to the debate specifically because they had given Biden so many drugs, it was no longer safe for him, and it still wasn't enough to make him seem normal.
After that performance, he needs to step down NOW. He is unfit to lead from that moment forward. It is dereliction of duty that his cabinet has allowed this to continue, greedy, power hungry fools.

I'm not so sure they planned this as much as so many being in denial. It's not going to be that easy to replace him unless he goes willingly. He's stubborn and has a huge ego, as does his wife. His campaign donations cannot carry on to whoever they replace him with, unless it is Kamala. Unless the source of that is wrong, that's going to create a lot of problems for switching to somebody better, honestly. We'll see how this goes, I'm far from convinced they will replace him easily.
