I have been around this type of music all my life and this guy is not only the real deal, he is a true gentleman who is exactly what is needed atm. People are sick of all the gimmicks & b/s that goes with fame and artists with very little talent these days. It is refreshing to see a sober coherent artist who is in it purely for the music. Good on you Joe, you deserve all the success you get, and the guitars too.

Don't have to say that Joe is great here...but those backup singers are KILLING it!!!!

Even after 50 years of playing and listening, Mr Bonamassa is able to make the simple 12 bar blues brand new all over again. The song is so clear, I love the space and all the beautiful gingerbread. And the hottest backup singers ever. He has taken proper charge and control of genre and stuns as much vocally as he he does with his playing. And I love how he shares so much of the stage with worthy talent allowing them to show off. I can't image it done any better. Bravo! Kudos!

If you notice all his band are all older musicians with years of performance under their belts. His keyboardist is in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame just for his keyboard work. I saw him in Omaha last year and he was great. Joe’s band is some of the best in the business.

I love the fact that Joe has,"seasoned" professionals around him. Reese seems to really enjoy his job too!

At 70 music has been in my life for all of my years. Joe Bonamassa is new to me but the music is not.His guitar ability surely ranks up there with all the greats in an genre of music to say nothing of his distinctive and ever growing voice. It is heart warming to see this talent and to listen to a future hall of fame in music individual!

Music isn't a competition.....but clearly Joe is at the top of this music genre...and raising the bar with stellar guitar work while fronting a big-band.

He just gets better, song by song, and I am along for the sweet sweet ride.

I haven't heard anything that he's produced that is less than the best blues I have heard on the planet. I agree with those of you who brought up his big-band and back up singers. They all are tremendously talented. Can't wait till he makes it back to Tucson.

Each member of the band is a master which makes it such an uplifting and supremely enjoyable experience to be witness to. Includes the back- up singers as well. Joe's videos are hypnotic for me. Gotta dance, ya know.

I saw Eric Clapton at Starwood amphatheater many years ago. Like Clapton, he comes out on stage with no bullshit and just does what a master guitarist does. He wows the audience with his talent.

"Discovered" Joe Bonamassa last night on PBS and blown away. Love him, love hisband, love his music..

If you watch sports, you want to see the best players with the best support staff doing the best they can. So, for all the wankers who say this is sterile because its too polished and void of emotion, your just looking to complain and you know nothing about music. This is great musicianship led by a quality human being who doesn't need drugs and alcohol or bizarre kicks, he just loves to rock out with other players who can lay the platform needed to soar at those levels. If you don't get it, fine, but please just leave the ignorant bitter comments out of it. JB has done nothing to you and nobody forces you to listen or watch, you came here all by yourself and maybe that's the problem, your by yourself, so leave the rest of us to enjoy great music with appropriate comments from people who also enjoy it. Plenty of electro pop or ballad FM for the rest of you.

Joe it is hard to pick from all of your music one that really stands out but Cadillac Assembly Line sure is a standout

We've been watching Joe since he was in High School. Can you believe this Titan of Song was too shy to sing? I think his voice sounds better every time I hear it and I know I've never heard a better Guitar virtuoso & I'm Not leaving anybody out of that comparison. He would never agree of course, but I've been playing & loving music for 50 years and Joe is that Digital Age, Next Level musician that has eased right on in and changed the Music Industry as we've known it, so much for the better with all aspects being handled by His Manager and Producer, in House! NO Record Company needed when you can do it all yourself. That trendsetting arraignment has been shown to us along the way in videos they make that are very informative on all aspects of their endeavors, be it a new song, ensemble or Guitar that Joe finds in his spare time on Guitar Safari! This Wickedly Talented Man is having a Blast being him. Thanks for letting us ride along Joe, We Dig It!

Nice to see the one & only Reese Wynans on keys. At 5.10 I wonder if he is thinking of SRV? It must be very emotional playing with somebody like JB for Reese. It would have been such a shock to the system and I know myself how much emotion you draw on when playing blues & jazz. I'm stoked Reese is with the band and look forward to seeing them in Australia this year.

Joe Bonamassa is not the be all and end all of the blues. He's just the end all, because there's no one coming through after him. He's just keeping the blues alive... and doing it very well.

He does a masterful job putting into music the migration of the poorly paid, mostly unemployed southern labor force to the booming auto plants of the north after ww2, where with little education & work skills a job with good pay & benefits was waiting. A perfect companion to Diego Rivera's "Detroit Industry Murals".

That Flying V was built by Gibson for a LEFTY in 1958 with the added guard. Rick Vito bought it from the original owner's brother. Joe has a few original Vs.

Some of the best playing and singing too, that I've seen from him yet. He old '59 V sounds tremendous too, not too much distortion, I like that.
