Bonamassa's career began onstage opening for B.B. King in 1989, when he was only 12 years old. Today, he is hailed worldwide as one of the greatest guitar players of his generation, and is an ever-evolving singer-songwriter who has released 28 solo albums since 2000, all on his own label, J&R Adventures.
Bonamassa's tour schedule consistently hovers at around 200 shows worldwide each year, and a heaping handful of markedly diverse side projects keep him thinking outside the box and flexing every musical muscle he's got.
There's a case to be made that Joe Bonamassa, like another star who shared the same initials, is the hardest working man in show business.
Joe, his musicians, and backup singers are all incredible. This orchestra and venue just puts it all over the top. Would love to see a Grammy for this one. Oh, and be sure to get the DVD. Awesome stuff!
I’m 23 currently as I type this my mom warned my current girlfriend that if you think you love that man and you want to commit to him just remember his first love has always been music. We’ve been together for a year and a half now. And she understands that when I go to my bandmates house that’s my solitude from the world around me. It has never betrayed nor forsaken me and all the things in this world come and go but music has always been the everlasting battery source that keeps me going in life
