I love hearing/seeing Bonamassa playing cover tunes. He's a great cover song guitarist, playing them as though they are his own. The dude can play some guitar! Cover sings are still the staples of his concerts. That's probably why he invites so many other musicians to join him. He plays their songs and he sounds good doing it.
Bonamassa has proved himself. But for my jollies, I like the way Farris introduces ands interacts with him -- as an equal -- or perhaps someone who still must prove himself. He's pushing. I like that it's in the moment. Farris is confident, and the SCW are not a bunch of slouches. Watch Bonamassa. He's not in "control" like he will be in times to come. And I promise, I own about everything he's put out.
Hello to MajesticMusicTV here in France! I've downloaded this entire footage a few years ago, because here it was impossible to find something about these gods that are SCW. So thank you, and if you have anything else... I would like them "back in the game", even if Mike is singing gospel now... In the meantime, remembering the good old times. Bruno
@wgdunn68 > Bobby Watkins stays busy at Thundershack studio. Terry Thomas enlisted in the armed forces and is currently serving in Afghanistan. Steve Burgess stays busy as a carpenter/home builder. And Rick White is finishing up an Accounting degree in college.
@wgdunn68 > SCW had a two show reunion in early September 2010 - Tidball's in Bowling Green, KY and the Mercy Lounge in Nashville with their new singer Jarrod England of Rufus Huff fame. They haven't played any shows since. Hopefully, that'll change in the near future.
