The reason it matters is because labels and execs have a thing for pushing non black racially ambiguous people onto black people, and they shelf fully black artists…it’s no fault to Tyla. But it represents something bigger than her
Watching politics black is used as a Micro aggression describing kamala haris. She is Jamaican. Reducing that to "just black" is a disrespect to both cultures. Tyala is African not american and thats cool but in america it aint black unless your being funny.
