No pass. He's responsible for 2 of the 4 losses. His bad play led to a loss against NE. His bad decision-making led to an INT at the end of regulation against Baltimore. In OT against Baltimore, he audibled out of a pass play to set his kicker up for a 50+ yard FG attempt he subsequently missed. His lack of locker room leadership has resulted in his teammates repeatedly giving bulletin board material to opponents that backfires. Chase cost his team the game against KC. Burrow had to address it when it was too late on the field because he isn't proactively addressing it behind the scenes. Chase even said he wishes Burrow was a more vocal leader. He's Kirk Cousins with more arm talent. He's just another dude on the roster. He doesn't have Mahomes leadership or presence. He has a career losing record against teams over .500. He can't win consistently with adversity like Mahomes.

I am a Joe Burrow fan too, and it is unfortunate but it's reality. The better you are, the higher the expectations, the smaller the margin of error of is for you, simple as that. Because we expect Joe Burrow to be MVP and lead his team to Super Bowls, the margin of error is so small for him. It's unfortunate because it seems like most of their losses comes down to one bad play by him, just one. 49 good/great plays out of 50, but that one is the difference between a win and a loss. The Bengals are obviously not built to go through the adversity. We just watched Dak throw 3 picks on Sunday night and they still won the game. If that last pass is dropped or deflected, Dak is the joke of the week. Instead, the pass is completed and nobody cares about those 3 picks. the Bengals holder fumbles the ball, they miss the kick, and now Joe Burrows stats mean nothing, just like that. That's the reality of football. Dallas' defense kept the game close enough to give Dak another chance, the Bengals aren't built like that. Unfortunate for Burrow, but he does have to play perfect. it's just the reality of the situation.
