Joe just looks like some guy’s dad hopped on stage and wanted to sing. And then he kills it like no one else. Great version of this song. Just cool as hell. The band was awesome!!
@@levondarratt787dude, what ARE you smoking 😂? Those backup singers are not big, just big voices. And yes, they're GORGEOUS! By the way, Joe isn't exactly thin either, but you're not saying anything about his size.
Quite often when I have been working at the Nurburgring Joe is played on the PA - and you hear him in Germany more than anywhere. Good taste those Jerries.
Cliff Goodwin-guitar, Howie Hersh-piano, Vito Sanfillipo-bass, Larry Marshall- organ, Eric Parker-drums, Maxine Green- vocals, cowbell, Carla Vaughn-Vocals, shakers, Joe Cocker Crew- Jim Foster, Rod Libby, JIm Skiathesis,Frank Papa.

Cowbells are essentially for hanging round the necks of cows, so that a cow-farmer can tell by the sound of the bells whereabouts his cows are....... ??
"Feelin' Alright" Seems I got to have a change of scene Cause every night I have the strangest dreams Imprisoned by the way it used to be Left here on my own or so it seems I got to leave before I start to scream But someone's locked the door and took the key Feelin' alright Not feelin' too good myself Feelin' alright Not feelin' too good myself Boy you sure took me for one big ride Even now I sit and wonder why And when I think of you I start to cry Got to stop belivin' in all your lies Cause I got to much to do before I die Before someone comes along and takes my place With a different name and yes a different face
Left here on my own, or so it seems; not feeling too good myself, cause every night I have the strangest dreams...old age ain't for sissies. Rock on Joe, only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the noon day sun.
Well if you say so: Nuremberg ROCK im PARK wasn't established until 1997 or so. I was in Nuremberg in 1985 which was NOT called ROCK im PARK then (Deep Purple, Meat Loaf, Chapman, Mountain, ....playing there) and in NUERBURG (ROCK am RING Nr. 1 (Cocker, Marillion, Saga, ...). Please check out Wikipedia for detailed information and the other Joe Cocker posts from the same concert (they all say Nuerburg or ROCK am RING).
that's correct, I was there in 85, I lived only 40 KM away from the tiny village of Nürburg, at the foot of the ruin of Nürburg-castle. Nürburgring is a world famous racing track with enough space for 50.000 people; the expected crowd was estimated 20.000 as far as I remember..... have you been there too ? Other highlights were Marius Müller-Westernhagen, U2 and Foreigner
l agree with you, indeed Joe Cocker is a great and talented artist who's songs never goes out of style, he's one of my favorites artist, he's songs still and always heals the Soul, I pray God gives you lot of beautiful days
