Joe Cocker was an English singer known for his gritty, bluesy voice & dynamic stage performances that featured expressive body movements. He recorded a few Beatles' songs "With A Little Help From My Friends", "She Came In Through The Bathroom Window" & "Something". Because it was Woodstock, Joe put every ounce of himself into this performance. It is the BEST version of this song by him or anyone ever. Woodstock was a cultural touchstone that started as a music festival offering "Three days of peace and music." and exploded into half a million people spread over a farmer's fields in 1969. Fortunately the organizers had camera crews filming most everything. That produced a movie that's worth watching. Woodstock (named after the nearby town of Woodstock in upstate New York) was arguably the epitome of the days of drugs, love, peace and protest. As the comedian Robin Williams aptly stated, "If you remember being at Woodstock, you weren't there".

A true one of one. She Came in Through the Bathroom Window is also amazing!

thought he would blow his cords by the 70's but he still sounded fantastic into the 2000's

Great reaction. You say you want to see more. One of his best 'full' concerts is the Dortmund concert. It is on RU-vid. Watch it all because it is perfection (both the band and him).

Joe was certainly getting by with a little help from his friends on that stage 😊😊

I used to work with Joes uncle in Manchester [ the real Manchester in England] in the 60s. The resemblence was remarkable. We used to ask him to mime this !

That look you had! 😂😂😂 This has to be my favourite reaction ever from this channel. You have to love Joe Cocker. He lives his songs. For a more sensitive side, check out, “You Are So Beautiful”. It’s stunning
