This was an unrehearsed invite that Joe asked Lorrie to Join him onstage and sing a song. It was a treat to see 2 Stars of the past do this. This was at the Gulf Coast Jam in Panama City, Fl. on Sunday September 2, 2018
R i p Joe Diffie sorry I never got to see you in concert I'm a truck driver but listening to you on the radio keeps us going through the night love and memories
Joe Diffie was a true talent that wasn't appreciated by the establishment but beloved by fans all over the world. Miss you and your wonderful voice Joe. 🎤🎸💔
So glad I got to meet and talk to Joe in Eufaula Oklahoma right before Covid hit. He sang his heart out and gave a hell of a show. Three months later he was gone. Keep hillbilly heaven in tune Joe. We miss you.
It doesn't even matter that words were forgot or sang out of context.. it's good to see two well known singers having fun and still entertaining regardless.. the real fans wouldn't care if they sang it backwards as long as they were up there making noise.. I had big smiles throughout this performance and wish I would've been one of the lucky ones in the crowd.. love country music and lorrie morgan said it best.. country music would always be her first love..and her last.. truer words weren't spoken to describe her..or me.. going to miss Joe Diffie..
Lorrie still tours small venues and bigger ones too. She puts a lot of hard work into keeping real country music alive. I saw her in 89 or 90 at a fair venue.
Warren Burlingame Must be the only thing ( i’m sorry but I’d coll this a total fuck up )) even the chopping block it wore out after that one wanna train wreck!
Wow! First time I've ever seen this video. It is such a great video, so much, that I literally just sat here and watched it three times in a row! Lorrie Morgan , one of the great female country singers! Singing with Joe Diffie on the classic Golden Ring song by George and Tammy! Now that right there is some great entertainment, watching Lorrie and Joe on an impromptu version of the song!! WOW!! Joe will be greatly missed by millions of fans around the world, who are just like me, that loved his music and his talent! Joe is resting in peace now, but his music will never die!
The other day when my husband yelled from the other room to say that Joe had died from COVID19, I cried. I’m still crying. There was only ONE Joe D. Sorry, but NONE of these wanna be country singers could touch the “real thing” like Joe Diffie, and the few of his caliber.
Another great singer who left us, Joe diffe, darn covid, it killed so many good people, from;Canada with love & Lorrie Morgan you are also great. R.i.p. Joe diffe.
Sad to see Joe had let his weight get away from him. You could tell he wasn't handling the heat well, and sort of struggling to breathe. You were a great one, Joe, as well as a good guy. Thanks for all the great music. RIP!
I think it says a lot about what both have been through that they both nail the divorce part but have trouble with the beginning part. True testament to life.
