Here you guys have all these things going on and pop places and l can't even be there and I would give anything to see you guys live but use the phone which is better than nothing Good luck with your tour and remember not everyone can be nice believe me lm the queen of pain l have been an emotional basket case all my life but I still try to do everything to the best of my ability
I’m 57, and I wasn't a fan of Def Leppard when I was young. I became their fan actually last year when I finally saw their gig! They still attract not only young generations but literally everybody.
I've seen Def Leppard three times at Wembly Arena and it was awesome! I really hope they tour the U.K. in 2021 as I would love to see them again. They're voices blend together so well, they are a pleasure to listen to. I have all their albums, I love looking at the Def Leppard music videos. My favourite song is Bringing on the Heartbreak, I could listen to the song all day long!
Def Leppard have great voices which harmonize really well together. Love them and listen to them every day, looking forward to seeing them live next year!
I was a little kid growing up in Florida when Hysteria came out. That's when I started seeing the band's videos on MTV and I heard some of the band's earlier stuff by the end of the '80s. I've been a Def Leppard fan since. I hope I can attend one of its concerts one day.
Def Leppard was my coming of age band. My first album/obsession ❤ I love these guys. I can’t believe Pyromania didn’t gain much success outside the USA. They are HANDS DOWN my all time favorites! Hysteria remains my fave all time album and the title track, my number 1 song of all time.
Hi Joe;Thanks for keeping your personality in check, in cool all of these years ,you didn't let stuff go to your head like some of these other rock stars. Let their egos to their heads here!P.S.Please do edited this column here for me !! Thanks
Im from Vancouver B.C. pyromainia was huge when it came out here. By what Joe's saying it wasn't that huge of a album ,I always thought it was just as big as hysteria I do remember the Rock brigade T shirts long sleeve with like left-winger right-winger reargunner.lol
Joe hits the nail on the head.... kids' bands are letting them down (08:50) so they are looking elsewhere. My 8-year old son is only exposed to the crap that comes out these days. I show him Def Leppard, Triumph, Journey, Rush, April Wine, and he just gets bewildered. It will come back around, I hope.
I agree that modern bands play crap nowadays. You can't beat Def Leppard for their voices and their music. Long live Def Leppard! I listen to them every day.
Matt McCormick - My now 5 yr old granddaughter has 3 Sammy songs downloaded on her iPhone.. when I’m watching Led Zep ole vids she smiles up at me & says ‘Led Zeppelin Gramma!’.. I was scrolling thru IG the other day & was a Billie E playing.. she says ‘That sounds awful!’.. 😂😂
Pyromania was the album that started the iconic DL sound but was still rough around the edges, actually even the re-mixed tracks on High 'n' Dry, but Hysteria perfected it. It's by far the best engineered, best mixed, and best produced album they ever released, if not one of the best of the 80's period. You can thank Mutt Lange for all of that, he molded the rough clay of a rock and roll band into an 80's hit making piece of art. Dude is a genius.
I think that’s probably only because he was younger, and he had a higher voice. All that screeching he did in rock of ages, I wonder if it ever hurt his voice.
@@davidstewart4310 The item was about the album, Hysteria, which was released in 1987. They should have put the band photo of that line up, not the current one. I don't see your argument.
@@wolves2502 Not an argument....just don't see what difference it makes. Every Leppard fan knows Steve Clark was on Hysteria...BBC don't give a toss tho hence why there's a more recent picture of Leppard which doesn't include Steve obviously. The average person watching this when it was broadcast won't know or care what band members are in the photo. It's DEF LEPPARD. That's all they'll know?
Mutt was getting them towards commercial. Listen to Shania Twain and her albums when she was married to Mutt. It sounds like Def Leppard and Bryan Adams has a similar sound.
Put him on weekly notice. Practice bill beat rent too badly. Fake large job attractant personell in fixed audience type. Non growth delusions as captured. 2:53
