+atmosphericjubilancy I'm sure with enough time you'll find something to love in neurofunk. The situation is the same as back in the days, another kind of bass music has risen. Unlike other styles, the dnb scene had a long history as it was already rich with quality music and quality audience. Ten years back, drum and bass had it's own lowpoint, people were telling that the drum and bass scene is kinda dead. With a huge technological revolution behind the producers, they are ready to work with professional equipment. Drum and bass was never the "push the play button" game, which is why the producers are basically forced to experiment with music. Even though the scene is filled with new producers and djs, in the end it just makes a tight race for them to create unique sounds. The audience should react to music, and have opinion about, which makes them strive harder for better sounds. The last time I saw such variety in music that Neurofunk has - it was when I started listening to Drum and Bass. Be open minded, experiment with music.

DnB is the most boring genre ever, might as well do something new and interesting.

I agree, not terrible imo but definitely not a great representation of the musicality that dnb can put forward. It gets to a point where speed and the hectic aspect take over from any type of flow or so called "funk", i never thought the name fitted purely because of this point alone. Any type of rythm or soul get's lost as the tracks slowly progress into speed competitions.
