RWSB1000 If trees killed and injured as many people as guns do, we would absolutely figure out a way to stop them. I have a tree in my backyard that is so regulated the city told me I would be fined if I cut it down.

Its not the guns that are evil, its the people that abuse there right to own a gun that are evil, and because of the US relaxed laws on gun ownership, your allowing these sick fucks to walk around with a bloody gun! Its not surprising that there has been 62 mass shooting in the past 30 years.
BiGfaToBz123 you have to take into consideration many of these were in gun free zones. I don't think gun control or presence/lack of presence of gun is as big as an issue as mental illness, political extremists, and gang activities stemming from drug prohibition

The history behind a firearm will make them collectable as well-such as a German Luger, or a Colt SAA carried in the 'wild west'. Also firearms can be a great financial investment-as long as they are kept in good condition. Firearms collectors do not necessarily have them just to "shoot someone".
Have you ever held an M1 Garand that was used to storm the beaches of Normandy? It's literally holding a piece of history, and a lot of people will not use these guns a lot, just to say you have one. And for the people who talk about having so many guns, many of these people have like 1 shotgun, 2 handguns, a rifle, a bolt action rifle, and lots of ammo and when they describe what they have, it sounds like many, many things, but each has their own purpose for different situations.
