Just be positive and you'll attract positive Finns. Just be yourself and you'll be fine. Finland is a very homogenous society so some Fins may not be used to foreigners from what I've read. I have experienced this with Germans before, even in my own country! But most are good people that will accept you.
@@laiskapyykki I can understand that its cold and dark but is it really antisocial I have only met a couple of Fins and they didnt seem akward or antisocial
Sweden and finnland are like sibblings. We always pick on one another, but theres is always love. I`m half finnish, half swedish but living in Sweden...but I know there is simuleritis with both of our countrys. We are the same....more the same then some peaple would like to admit....but we are the same!! All peaple off the north is the same really...we share history....we share blood. We were linked togheter for about 800 years... respect the bound...respect the history....respect the love! This goes for both countrys.... I know!!! Sweden should have been there for Finnland.....!! And some Swedes were...as volenters....but sweden should have been there for Finnland, as Finnland have been fighting for Sweden in the past.. My grandfather made it out alive...he was lucky.. To brothers and sisters...respect!!
steve dell True it must be nice and cool up there and as a finn I can say that only place that should be so hot that you start to swet should be in sauna :D
He interviewed this huge guy at a Donald Trump rally and the guy clearly scared the shit out of him (seriously).. Americans are kinda like Russians.. not good to push too far. Unless you are dealing with liberals, then they're girly men.
I enjoy living in Finland too. But the sauna is the only positive thing , and that's one seriously positive thing. Or well, I have to be honest with myself, I do like the cold and the dark too.
i am immigrant in Finland since 3 years and i never felt like outsider, people are so nice and helping when needed. i am Asian and have lots of black friend's living happily. your words are like my shit which goes off after flush.
I really hope that the Finnish salute catches on. I can picture Finland 50 years from now, when grandpa teaches his grandson the traditional salute, taught by a hero from a distant land.
Миноксидил Америка Finland has the most metal bands per capita so it's in our blood :) www.slate.com/content/dam/slate/blogs/business_insider/2013/11/12/131112_bi_heavymetal.jpg
I´m from Colombia and I admire finland, it looks to me that it is a very organized country, I hope to spend some time there in the future and meet finnish people.
I am not a Fin but I live here in Finland :) I would say it was funny but since you started to convince the fins to move to Sweden. It's a joke and I get but it was also a bit rude if that person takes it seriously. They are quite independent :)
Finland is definitely now on the list of places I need to go to the next time I get sent to Europe. Random people off the street seem super nice even when the camera is hidden.
@@Eltestigofielyverdadero not really, i live in brazil(south) and there is a load of argentinians here. Like a lot. They are pretty much the same but spanish speaking lol
I think the weather of a country plays an important role in defining the attitudes and characteristics of it's people, cold weather makes you really reserved and isolated it seems but the Finns deep down inside seem like nice, friendly and natural people. You just got chip into their core and tear down the ice!
Finish guys are cute and joe by the way you should plan a trip to mexico, you could have a lot of fun with us :D is there any way to follow you on facebook?? i love your videos!!
Why did Joe get so sensitive when one of the guys said a lot of Turkish people were in Sweden?? Is he ultra politically correct or what?? It didn't sound racist to me.
First off, yes, it was super racist, the guy said "Turkish people" as a deterrent. Now, if you don't have an issue with racism, that's something else completely different.
Alex Atrocity You must be a troll... Are you really trying to use semantics to convince me that prejudice against people of Middle Eastern or North African descent is not racism?
Finland is a very nice country sweden should go back to being more like them. And now when Finland and Sweden are basically equal we should go back to an alliance and be together again like we used to ;^;
***** China is one of the leading countries, but it came with a price. their lack of interest about their citizens made them rich. sweden is already and will be even more fucked up with their immigration policy, I totally agree with that but what is this putin crap again. like please... go back to read some yellow tabloids
DsHokage3D Dude, very few finns want to have anything to do with Sweden. The development in our neighbouring country over the last 15 years has been quite negative.
Hmm. I`ve just checked it. There are around 60.000 Turkish citizens. That seems pretty a lot to me. But according to Wikipedia( I don`t know how true it is) Turkish minority is one of the smallest ethnic minority in Sweden by number. Thanks for the info btw.
@@christina2197 Mainly Kurdish actually.. Sweden took lots of immigrants in 80's from a small settlement in Turkey called 'Kulu' which has lots of Kurds. Also Syriac people who are Christians from Mardin made their way to there, they even have football team in Sweden called 'Syrianska'.. Some famous Syriac footballs like Kennedy Bakırcıoğlu and Jimmy Durmaz, they have Christian names Turkish surnames and they practise their religion in Arabic.
@@koftehorgg5532 That comment was 4 years ago. And the finns dont know whos a turk and who isnt, anyone who looks slightly turkish can get called a "kebab" lol
hey man your videos have only one defect...they are much too short!! seriously...you are a hell of a comediant....you should come own here to Argentina and do a few videos here
It really is a joke when the Finns say we hate the Swedes really fancy the Sweden and Finland, Finland's second official language is Swedish I for one like Sweden
Nope. From wikipedia: Scandinavia[a] is a historical and cultural-linguistic region in Northern Europe characterized by a common ethno-cultural Germanic heritage and related languages that includes the three kingdoms of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. Sometimes the term Scandinavia is also taken to include Iceland, the Faroe Islands, and Finland, on account of their historical association with the Scandinavian countries.
