This is one of my favorite arrangements of all time. I see it as the iconic beginning to all those 1.5hr "piano studio ghibli collection" videos that I've listened to dozens of times while studying. So glad to hear another performance of this!

I have watched many piano covers of this song, and I can say, this one is by far the best one I've come across! Kudos to your skills! You are awesome!

This is probably one of my favorite ghibli songs of all time. Hopefully when I graduate highschool and college I can afford a piano as nice as yours that I can play on in my spare time; and maybe even play as wonderfully as you do!

This has be one of my favorite Joe Hisaishi pieces. This arrangement is also so good. I was trying to arrange this same piece for fingerstyle guitar but most of the times I end up losing the tonal quality of some parts but in this case everything is clean and on point. Good job playing this, looking towards more of your content!

Thank you for tuning me in on the Makiko Hirohashi arrangements! I love his Merry Go Round of Life arrangement because it's one of the few that opens with the slow jazz 9th and 11th chords used at the beginning of the movie when it pans across the wastes. Ugh, long comment now, but in the same vein I recommend the Moises Nieto arrangements of the Octopath Traveler themes on RU-vid -- I think he has links to *all* of the sheet music. I started playing piano 5 months ago and this piece seems like it would be something I could learn after 2 years or more of practice lol! Everyone in the comments has reiterated it as well but you truly capture the heart of this song, more so than any other cover on youtube. 2:58 - 3:15 always makes me shiver from how good it is and how you play it! I will be revisiting this video over and over until I can one day play it, thank you : )

Is that the same top from your old covers from years ago? Have you tried spinning it while playing a song at the same time? It would be cool if it can spin the whole way after you play a piece. Although if it spins too long we might think we were dreaming while watching your video haha.

I wish I could play this well. How did you get the pedaling down? I was hoping for advice on the parts that seem kind of like staccato? I'm not a great pianist, so I don't know if there is any pedal there at all but it kind of sounds like there is something going on to sustain the notes but for like just a second
