This man is a genius.

This music is so incredibly composed. It's genius! It has all the emotions, laughter, sadness, joy, pain, hurt, fun, compassion, love, mystery, happiness, wonder and magic. Thank you Joe Hisaishi and his amazing orchestra.

When I close my eyes, I feel a light breeze brush my face. I can see Howl's Castle slowly moving through the meadow, the scare crow hopping behind it. And I am just watching as Sophie and Howl walk in the skies, laughing in a way that no one in this world could do. A laugh filled with sincerement, love, and youth.......This song brings me to somewhere that I can never go to in my life. I simply love it.

Conducting and playing the piano at the same time. Joe Hisaishi, you're a boss.

I can hear the influence of Desde el Alma, Argentine Vals, and Shostakovich's Jazz Waltz 2. When I hear this, it fills me with emotion. Thank you Joe Hisaichi for your genius composition. I hope that you go to Venezuela and play with the Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra.

The way Hisaishi moves along with the tunes he creates, one can tell that his heart beats at a tempo, his blood is of musical notes, and his hands were trained specifically to write and conduct.

I absolutely love Ghibil and its music. Fantastic.

His music never ceases to leave me feeling Spirited Away to a Castle in the Sky that Howls as it Moves over a Valley of the Wind where Princesses and Mononokes reside and then suddenly a Delivery Service run by a witch and a cat take me and bring me to a house On a Cliff By the Sea and I wave to My rotund blue Neighbor and then I gaze into the sky to see a Pig in a fighter plane flying away and...

There two things out of everything that I want to do before I die: 1) Meet Hayao Miyazaki and thank him for creating such wonderful films. 2) Go to one of Joe Hisashi's concerts and say "Thank, you, Hishashi-Sama, for creating such beautiful music, which transcends words and thought, and stirs one's soul so that it brings them to tears."

Every time I listen to this I always imagine me putting one of my hands out and waiting for this girl to accept it and start dancing.

Not only this, but all of Hisaishi's songs bring me to tears because of how beautiful they are

This song, without any lyrics or anyone singing, is simply beautiful. It captures the sad & yet uplifting moments in Howl's Moving Castle. How Howl had to endure the curse, and at the same time he's in love with the girl. By far, Joe Hisaishi is my favourite composer , current & classical composers. It gives me goosebumps whenever I listen to it! Hisaishi rocks! :)

Hisaishi-san's piano playing sends chills down my whole body, and this is just only through a computer screen. I can't imagine watching him live, I don't think I can sit still for the entire performance with so many different emotions running inside of me. He is a genius.

Miyazaki's films are like a childs imagination on live, and Hiaishi is the heartbeat that puts me into that dreamlike state of mind. In other words. I cried.

I feel like waltzing every time I hear this. Thumbs up if you do too :)

To me, this movie is about the growing pain. it is hard to grow up yet still keep one's ingenuousness as a child. this music is so wonderful to remind me some difficult yet sweet time that we experience when we were young, when we believed we could fly and we really did.

This is so beautiful! All I can think about are the wonderful memories I have of this movie.

If I'm present in that event, I can't help myself but burst in tears and happiness. It's like the spirit of the story is surrounding me, can't help myself to feel like I'm Sophie.

Miyazaki's movies are so amazing. Not only do they always use the perfect music but it shows the best lessons and themes that make me go into tears at the realization of how big the hideous side of humans can be, yet it also shows the beautiful side as well. Such as in Howl's moving castle. The hideous side is shown with the war supporters, yet the beautiful side is shown through Sophie. Anyways, love ALL his movies. And this song is a song you just have to listen to to know its magnificence:)

I loved so much the scene of the stroll by the sky... I wish Howl and Sophie had danced a waltz with this song in the sky... I also like the title of the song, and makes me think that life sometimes is trully a merry-go-round, full of upside and downside moments, but you can choose suffering through the changes or learning from them. I choose to learn and enjoy the mere fact of be alive, with opportunities, friends, family and experiences to live. And ears to listen masterpieces like this one!

One of the greatest composers of all time. Don't get me wrong, Bach is cool and all, but I honestly feel emotions run through me that I cant' describe when I hear this music. He's amazing to be able to weave such emotion between each and every note. I'm truly blessed to be one of those people who actually known of Miyazaki and Hisashi. everytime i listen to this song, there will be a surge of happiness overwhelming me, its like its magical, and this song is so touching that i cant help it but get a little too emotional whenever i listen to it. Its like infinite happiness listening to this song. You can sort of feel the happiness of the story behind this song:')

Seeing all of these comments from a couple of years ago makes me feel as if this video has been forgotten even when it hasn't, it makes me wonder what these people are up to now. This piece by Joe Hisashi brings back a sense of nostalgia that only a few compositions can bring back, I've never watched Howl's moving castle but this piece just makes me feel connected to my past self.
