Joe- "I got the platform. I don't have to shout out my goonie friends on the radio today. I'll be back here" Hollow- "I'll be back here too" Joe- "What, to rhyme acapella?Yeah, good luck with that" Str8 murdered that nigga. Lmao!
I really hope this battle goes well because I want the battle rappers & industry rappers to clash more & end up on some Marvel vs Capcom shit. Will be good for the culture.
This was more entertaining than the actual battle. Hollow Ethered Joe with the "he doesn't talk to Eminem" LIne That nigga said "The word around shady records is that Eminem won't be there." DAMN!
This may be the first PPV battle I actually order. I have been watching battle rap for years and never has the anticipation been higher for me. Great banter between these two!
"Em didn't call you" Hollow even had Joe laughing! ... I had to hit the like button after that.. What makes it so funny is that Joe really tried to keep a straight face until Ebro busted out laughing... Hollow pulled Joe's card so well, that was too funny LML XD
That's why hollow will lose, everything to know about Joe is already out in the open. You don't think Joe's expecting Hollow to take the personal route? Joe will take this W.
Hiphopniac MusicKing lol he's had no experience on this level. he don't even know how he sounds or comes off in a battle rap. budden will take the L 100% without a shadow of a doubt and you're an idiot for thinking otherwise
Out ya gat damn mind. Joey is gonna smoke him, but y'all go ahead and cheer for ya mans Hollow. In the mean time ---> getmybuzzup.com/road-total-slaughter-bright-lights-totalslaughter-video/
I think Hollow has a disadvantage because he cant say anything about show that we haven't heard it seen already. Like when Eminem told all the dysfunctions in his life so if a battle rapper said it ,it wouldn't mean anything.
Joe clearly didn't like that. I knew that he was going to comeback with something when he said something like, "Nobody wants to hear about your goonie friends!" Joe got sore! LOL!
Hats off to Joe for having the heart to put his career on the line like that. Most industry rappers would'nt have the balls to take a chance like this. Also he is correct most real mc's come from battle rap- its good for the culture all the way around!!!
I feel some type of way knowing rappers of Hollow's prestige don't even have 100k to their name and can't even buy a house. Meanwhile Ebro is prolly getting paid more to commentate on something he bashes than the rappers got paid in the total slaughter house, cause he's a uncle rukus type nigga. I'm glad total slaughter didn't blow up battle rap, it would have been the worse thing to happen to the scene.
I love the back and forth with Hollow and Joe here, looking forward to the PPV definitely. Ebro has got to get his facts together though, he couldn't name any apparent elements in Hollow's style the main one being his ability to Rebuttal and Freestyle. Also this isn't battle rap's 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc foray in to PPV, KOTD has been doing that for a while now as well as UW, and Gorilla Warfare, etc. Despite all of that it's nice to see Slaughterhouse capitalizing on their visibility to give the culture more shine.
This was great! Em ain't call you lmao... even Joe had to laugh at that... I like the fact that they good sports about it. Shots being fired at each other and they kept it respectable....
joe playing it too cool man, battle rap is like lyrical boxing when you do the weigh in , you gotta talk shit and play the mental game lol joe being to safe but it makes you wonder what he gonna come with
I like how u put dat my g, yup joe playin it cool not wilin' too much, I kinda wanted to see him bitch hollow a little more, much more, but joe is like an actor when u say action it's on, n the psychotic part of his personality comes out! he will surely be incredibly lyrical n provocative I hope he dosent choke so bad is my only concern, so what joes life is in da public, all the mainstream rappers have that in common, that's the reason y people should salute joe for havin balls n courage n not bein a bitch. so hollow gonna make us laugh u, with some personals, know when joe takes that stage he will have a much more COMMANDING voice n be real lyrical, hope he can do well with crowd reaction n without it, so we'll see tonite.
Jon Jones the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world, and even though Anthony Johnson is coming for his belt, they both played it cook at their press conference. Dappin each other up and shit.
if Joe approaches it like B Magic - metaphor after metaphor - he is gonna be hard to beat - of course with live crowds you have to wait for them to get it - that is what Hollow does - a few hay makers and filler - but Lux shows that you can get a lot of bars in and people will watch it later and appreciate it longer
That's funny cause that's what actually happened, contrary to "popular" opinions. Joe came in strong both first 2 rounds. They both did garbage for their last rounds but Hollow was able to handle the boos better then Joe was able to. Overall, Joe roasted this nigga.
Yeah I read that too. I didn't know what that meant to be honest. I grew up in the Bx and I'm not a young cat and I can tell you that Afrika Bambaata came up with the term Hip Hop and it always consisted of the 4 elements DJING, MCing, Breakdancing, & Graffiti.
its always been been the same 4. no idea why they tried to say emceeing and battling was separate. its still the art of rapping in essence. but early on beatboxing has been called the 5th element. not written in stone as the actual founding element but some what loosely added later on
