Joe & Katya Quickstep to ‘Jumpin’ Jack’ by Big Bad Voodoo Daddy - Strictly Come Dancing 2017 

Joe is such a versatile dancer. I really hope he makes it to the finals. For a contestant with no prior dance experience to deliver on dances week by week is such a fantastic feat.

Wow. When you look at Joe from week 1 the transformation is incredible. And he's so confident for a non-dancer. Love it!!

Can we just appreciate Katya's choreography?? It's always so so so good!

Wow. What a sumptuous visual feast: a delight to watch. A perfect combination of setting, style, music and performance. Remember that ten weeks ago, Joe McFadden essentially couldn’t dance, not to any professional standard at any rate. But the point where he and Katya went back-to-back and then stomach-to-stomach with no arms and still doing kick-flicks on time and on balance was superb. It was showy but not arrogant - like Usain Blot slapping his chest when he crossed the finish line in the 100m in Beijing. People would pay to see this but it’s all on the BBC for free. No wonder the audience stood up at the end - folk at home should have done the same thing. Dynamite.

Pure joy to watch. Also wonderful to see a non-dancer get better and better and kick the trained dancers off the top of the podium.

Joe has been partnered perfectly! Katya just pushes him so much - he’s so shy and humble than he needed someone with Kayla exuberance to push him out of his shell and PERFORM

Really liked Katya's choreography this week! Not to mention, I really loved the dance as well :D Could be on his way to the final (especially since that Shirley loves him)

this was probably one of my favourite dances of the series. everything works so well together, the music, the clothing and Katya's choreography was incredible as always.

The theme reminded me of the old photo of workers sitting on an i-beam up in the air taking a tea break. I think it is very clean. There are moments when the running promenades were so quick he almost lost body contact when in hold. Beautiful scattered chasses though. 9!

Such a great dance !! Katya's choreography was extraordinary, his footwork was spot-on, great body contact all the way through, fantastic movement across the floor, proper and intricate number (look what they do at 01:34 for example, fantastic) ... the only thing that let it down was his frame, it could have been better, but other than that it was superb. A 9.

This was great - creative choreography, fun, fast and executed really well.

I do think the theme had nothing to do with this and I would have liked more in hold. But nice footwork and he definitely had some steps that are good. His spins were nice and there was a lot of content there. 8
