He got suspended 8 game’s for that. That’s bullshit. The Astros players who cheated walk away free and clear. They’re so lucky this isn’t a regular season they’d have pitchers coming for them left and right. And rightfully so they cheated their way into World Series and face ZERO repercussions.
@Daniel Mejia They had set up a sophisticated system to video their opponent catcher's hand signals to the pitcher. After a few pitches they knew which hand-sign was which pitch. In other words they crack the other team's code. Then they used an elaborate system to tell their batter what type of pitch the pitcher would throw...! Inside their bullpen they pounded on an a large empty 55-gallon garage can which you can barely hear through the crowd noise. If you are listening for it, you can hear it. If you're not listening for it then it's not noticable. So they had their own simple code for their batters to know what pitch was coming. One bang, two bangs, three bangs etc meant either a speedball, curveball, etc. Supposedly one player used an electric tapper taped inside his clothes which tapped on his skin once, two times, etc. relaying the pitch count. The whole scheme was setup to steal and relay the pitch to the batter in 1-2 seconds. The whole team participated not just one or two players. The Astros should have been kicked out of the MLB. Gone. No redemption.

It’s sad that this is part of Dodgers history. A moment that nobody saw in person, due to a fake scandal to scape goat the one team stupid enough that got caught. Also rich in the fact that the pitcher who started it himself was a part of TWO teams that were both caught and fined for doing similar cheating methods. Ironically enough playing for a team that has been known to bend the rules themselves yet no one brave enough to call them by name. This is part of your history? Sad.

DenalPvP yeah I used to like baseball growing up in the 90’s, I knew a lot of the players names and would actually talk about baseball amongst friends. The truth is football is king now but to each his own. I do enjoy going to a ballgame and watching Bryce Harper, or just someone that shows emotion and goes hard all the time. Especially new school basketball. I thought basketball was fun to watch In the bird-magic-Jordan era from highlights ive seen. Hasn’t football been dying though? Kelly played for Boston in 2018, the year Alex Cora went to the Red Sox. They were almost assuredly pulling the same shenanigans while Kelly was on the team.
And Kelly was an AL relief pitcher, pretty sure he didn't bat once while with the Sox, so I'm fairly certain he would not have been a part of a signal-stealing scam even if there was one in Boston.
