Dodgers, Joe Kelly might be my new favorite player. This is a clip from The Pat McAfee Show live from 10am-Noon EST Mon-Fri. SUBSCRIBE: / @thepatmcafeeshow MERCH: store.patmcafeeshow.com
@@George_Gilbert Yup, because we know Astro fans never cried about anything when they were straight dogshit their whole franchise history up until then.
@@ethan1747 HA now that is where you're wrong 90 percent of the fan base left and join a better team because that how bad the astros were. Those tears you're referring to are from ex astros fans crying when their new team won championships. So if you going to try and insult the fan base think about that.
@@jtodd0221 I would like a Groundhog Day type movie repeating the day over and over, hitting the same dudes over and over, creating all types of wacky scenarios. Oh man, that would be hilarious 😂😂😂
The Lone Wolf - You know what else is pathetic? When an individual corrects other’s grammar and/or spelling on the RU-vid comment section. Why don’t you correct the OP’s non-capitalization of proper nouns as well? Scumbag.
Mlb is trying to prove a point. If people keep throwing at the Astros then people will keep talking about them cheating. Then they might have to do something about the trophy.
Texas Squatch Watch I think even you could hit the ball if you knew what pitch is coming from a camera feed that’s coming in to the dugout; makes it a lot easier. Let’s be honest, they’re only sorry because they got caught, they’d probably still be doing it if they hadn’t.
Yeah, they were getting great rating during the steroids era so they might be looking at ways to help the batters out again. I agree 100% that the league needs a new commissioner badly.
Which always amuses me because they want quicker games and the only way to get that is better pitching. Top to bottom confusion is just one reason the MLB is a sinking ship.
As a Dodger Fan, I just want to say Kelly is forgiven of all previous transgressions. He is now a true Dodger. Going as far as to break his own window for plausible deniability that he pitches wild. Hometown kid from Riverside sees his local team cheated outta a WS and does something about it. Becomes a meme and this year's "Go get it out of the ocean". Justice for Joe. can't wait to boo the Astros next season! If they think we'll forget they are sadly mistaken!!
Andrew Kelly oh yeah, and throwing at the guy who intentionally slid into Brock holt and then asking for the guy to come at him defending his teammate, starting joe kelly fight club, yeah, that’s guts
@@andrewkelly1337 Dude if you watch the video? it woulda hit his upper ribs if he hadn't moved or if he turned a shoulder and back. painful? yes. Deadly? no. It's only cuz he ducked to dodge and even then with helmets these days all he woulda had to do was concussion protocol and still gotten paid.
Nolan Hartman your obviously talking to someone who doesn’t know anything about baseball, but listens to sports talk radio and is just repeating what they heard...
A Swarm of Sexually Confused Hornets that actually depends on his previous outing and pitches thrown...there is a reason he’s not a starter he can’t handle the workload
already mentioned but you can't stress it enough. no suspensions, none, not one single game, for players that cheated their way to a world series and almost to a second championship. 8 games for doing what everyone unanimously agrees the astros have coming to them?!?!
I agree completely with what you’re saying, but you have to keep in mind that 8 games to a pitcher means he’ll basically miss one start and that’s it. It’s not like suspending a position player 8 games where he’ll legitimately miss 8 games. If they give him any shorter of a suspension, he wouldn’t have effectively had to miss time. So 8 games isn’t THAT bad when you think about it.
8 games in a 60 game season is a 21 game suspension in a regular season. When is the last time a player got an 8 game suspension for an on-field incident, but made no contact with another player?
This is why people have no faith in laws and rules. They only seem to get used to defend the people in power, but never the little guy. You're in the club, you get one set of rules, you're outta the club, you get another.
@@robbase5235 all them haters knowing their team hell every team takes every advantage legal or not they can get away with, still have to pitch hit and catch and astros did, get over it
If you want to do the crime be prepared to do the time. I mean the Astros. Id zing every pitch i threw by a guys head. There is a code. Steal signals, cheat, watch your homet to0o long or act like an asshole? Get hit by pitches. Joe Kelly is my new favorite player too.
Let’s take away Boston’s title in 2018 too, they cheated. And let’s trash the Yankees for cheating too, oh wait nobody wants to do that because they are the biggest market teams in the mlb. It’s easier to pick on the little guy
But at the same time, all it really means is that he’ll miss one start. So when you think of it that way it’s a pretty mild suspension. If they gave him any less he effectively wouldn’t have had to miss any actual time.
So . . . does this mean now when a pitcher actually loses control of a pitch and it gets near an Astro it's going to be an automatic 8 game suspension?
@Krystal Giove It is a freaking rivalry game, this type of trash talking happens regularly so that is nothing. In fact if Correa didn't swing at bad pitches this would not have been a non issue. In fact after the at-bat he was walking towards HIS dugout.
Kelly was a Cardinal originally. Met him in a bar in St. Louis after their 2011 win, and dude had a legitimate “Wild Thing” haircut and glasses. Met Freese, too, though he was too coked up to hold a conversation. Ball players are crazy people.
You know what else is funny? Being Boston and cheating win and championship. And what’s ever funnier is being the Yankees and cheating not winning one at all
And Rob Manfred continues to be a national joke. In fact, the only commissioner that is semi-competent is Adam Silver and their product is unwatchable with all the superteams.
Considering Joe Kelly is a starting pitcher, the 8 game suspension is effectively a 2 start suspension. This is the equivalent of a 4 start suspension in a normal season. That's still pretty steep.
i always wonder why he throws his training pitch uphill.. and thank goodness they shared this vid.. so i don't feel too upset about my misses on the rebounder :D
Joe Kelly will miss one start in the 8 games he is suspended. Every team Houston faces will have a starter willing to express themselves for their teammates, costing one missed start.
Oh really.. what about doesn’t get us cleared? They stole signs like all teams do, when a runner reaches second base. The difference once is that they believe the scout was using in game live feed to update the sequences to the players. The astros were doing LIVE pitching updates. If you actually took the time to find out about the Red Sox you’d know that sign stealing is normalized. Alex Cora got suspended from his time with astros- no punishment from time with the Sox.
Boston fan in denial about how guilty their team is. Oh, my. I'm shocked. Shocked. Your entire city's dirty, Connor, and everyone knows it. I appreciate the way that you try and reach out to give your teams a hand(ie), though.
damn i hated what he did. i get the astros cheated but if you gonna hit him then do it. and then walks away while talking and making faces. would’ve loved to see his face punched
When fans get back either postseason time if we get a vaccine that works, or sometime next year, it's gonna be awesome to hear them playing away from Houston. I can only imagine how many drums Oakland's gonna have when they come to town
