Joe Kelly has always destroyed the Dodgers, whether it was taking out their best player as a Cardinal, locking the Dodgers down in the World Series, or losing them a win-or-go-home game five.
You ever check Kelly’s postseason stats for Boston? 15+ innings over 3 postseasons and only gave up 1 earned run…never walked a single batter during his postseason time with Boston either
kelly has my respect. he went out there with nothing left in the 10th and gave it his all it sucks that his manager didn't do anything to help him. Kelly did what he could be when you have nothing left there's not much you can do
@@noway9278 who knows. Yelich wasn't there for the brewers in rf during the WC and his replacement made a critical error that cost the brewers the game and their season. Hanleys bat coulda been there in a big spot but oh well
As a Tigers fan it reminds me of us with Joe Nathan. I watched him destroy the Tigers with the Twins for a decade (he literally never blew a save) then we sign him and he turns into a gas can.
Joe Kelly pitching is like me playing pool when I'm already like seven beers deep; I can sink some really hard shots but always wind up muffing on some easy ones.
Bobby Steadman the Dodgers have been building a championship team since the new ownership, first we went with a seasoned crew expecting a ring but we we fell short so we threw more money at the team and still fell short, now we are trying a young farm raised crew but we still lack pitching. Believe me, the team is there minus a few players here and there but management is just plain awful.
used to hate Kelly for the rib hit on Hanley, but with how 2020's gone how can an LA fan not love him? The dude grew up as a Dodgers fan and now helped them win it all
@@gananjajukus5027 I'm just going off what I've heard, he could very well have been an Angels fan. Regardless, he's a local guy and I'm glad he's being more receptive of the team and that the fans are being more receptive of him
Not these days He’s a legendary hero now that he took it upon himself to give the cheating punks a buzz, and then taunt them. From breaking Hanley’s ribs to killing us on the WS, All is forgiven.
How? He's a hypocrite for being on a cheating team and a beta for throwing at a player he dislikes then hiding behind his teammates when benches cleared lol. Dude isn't a clown show, but the entire circus 🤣🤡
Joe Kelly had a moment in his career and that was with Boston. Even Boston management knew he wasn’t to be trusted with a new contract so the let him walk. Andrew Friedman should have seen that as a sign and avoided signing him! This one is on Friedman!
They had Maeda, Jansen, and fricking Kolarek in the bullpen. Kolarek faced Soto in game 1 and struck him out. What was different for Joe Kelly, Angel'sa and the Yankees. This is like a damn Ryan Madson all over again
First homerun that kershaw gave up was excusable because he threw that pitch down, but the second homerun was inexcusable because he threw that pitch down the middle.
Joe Kelly giving that homer to Howie was not his fault. He hadn't pitched multiple innings for months. Roberts decides to try that in the postseason??? C'mon you gotta know how to use him.
It’s Howie Kendrick that’s amazing in those clutch at-bats. Joe Kelly and Will Harris threw the pitch and in the location where the catcher wanted it but Kendrick just smack em all away.
Bob Rickleson And how many rings do they have? Fuck ton more lately than you. (From a cubs fan, dodger fans are the worst in baseball, worse than the Yankees, and yes, the cubs.)
Thb, they shouldn't have kept him in the game. He was clearly starting to give up hits after shutting down an inning. Especially since he's a one inning type of guy.
@@bobbysteadman6739 Dave Roberts is Horrible save your breath no matter how many wins and how many division titles you guys lost to a wild card team all that talent and Dave didn't know how to play his cards right? Save the story's man that series loss was pathetic
It was Kelly. People want to blame Kershaw, but it was Kelly who killed the season. Kershaw didn't load the bases and allowed a grand slam. The Dodgers were tied, not losing, for Kelly.
Tbh he did his job in the 9th and gave his team a chance to walk it off. Not his fault Dave put him out there for a 2nd inning while coming off an injury.
Thank Guggenheim for throwing the L.A. dodger playoffs but keeping the team competitive every year... These Billionaires rely on the bottom line and not the trophy..
