In order for him to do these right on vocal impressions, it is essential that he have a magnificent voice of his own, and he does! Even fighting cancer over half his life, Joe still performs today in his late 50's, still putting all his energy into every song and that incredible voice never failing him. He sings until he is ready to drop from his illness. My favorites are "When your old wedding ring was new" and "If I never sing another song" , but I enjoy all of his songs....way over the top
I am so glad I happened upon Joe Longthorne...This man has a voice that doesn't quit. What a superb talent he was and still is. He has these two down to an impersonation "T" and what fun he is as well...he absolutely knows his claim to fame and seems happy to be able to be on stage to do it! Bravo, Joe!!! I have seen both of these superb ladies in concert many times and he has captured their essence perfectly!
I've seen this great artist/performer twice, and all I can say is, he just delivers 100% perfection. The word Legend, should only be used cautiously - Joe, to me I'd put you in the Legend category for sure.
These are the people years ago had to work hard to get somewhere not like today true talent joe great singer and entertainer old school sad not many left these days he had a lot of bad health in his life so sad rip joe rip 👍
Love both these ladies singing and his Cleo Laine isn't perfect but pretty accurate as it's kinda hard to get that exact voice but Shirley Bassey blows my mind
I like his Shirley Bassey imitation much better than Dame Cleos . I think when you have one of those voices that has a great range and depth it is hard imitate .
