I had the priveledge of seeing Joe a couple of times, at the Beck Theatre in Hayes. What a complete performer, and a genuine guy towards his fans. Sadly, taken too soon. Sorely missed. 🙏🏼❤️

have to make you right how can anybody put a thumbs down i spoke to joe a few years ago for my 50th birthday at a show he was doing he was a one off performer his talent does not come around that often once in a lifetime

God bless, Joe. An honest, ordinary bloke with a rare, rare talent. Just a normal Hessle Roader from Hull, a gypsy lad who lost neither his roots nor his Hull accent. A beautiful man sadly missed.

I met Joe many times a absolute gentleman he was 🙏🌹🙏he’s the greatest talent Britain has ever produced who sung through the bad times and made many of us she’d a tear of joy what a entertainer top drawer 🌹🌹. Requiescat in Pace Joe xx

We knew him as “uncle Joe” no matter what state he was in, the minute that microphone hit his hand, the alter ego took over. He could be wasted one minute, then give him the mic and boom.
