It's a 50/50 fight for me, if Frazier gets into Louis' rhythm in time, he might be able to capitilize and knockout Louis, but if Louis uses his superior intelligence and craftiness to his advantage he might be able to knock Frazier out too, so it's a hard fight to choose, really.
Joe Louis versus Joe Frazier Louis - Achievements Frazier - Opposition Louis - Style Louis - Punching Power Frazier - Speed Stamina/Endurance - Tie Defense - Tie Frazier - Chin Frazier - Willpower Louis - I.Q. in the Ring Louis - Size Louis - Key Losses Winner: Joe Louis. Prediction by KO in the last rounds or judges decision.
Louis missed his physical prime years because of WWII. His last 2 fights before he joined the army he weighed 207 and 208 respectfully. When he came back he generally fought at 212. Heavyweights are in their physical prime between the ages of 28 and 32. Louis missed those years because of WWII. So his physical prime would be more like 210. Louis knocks out Frazier inside of 10 rounds. Frazier took too many punches and never did well against punchers.
I think he would be a harder fight than Galento, due to Frazier being a more refined pressure fighter, and if Frazier gets into Louis' rhythm, he might win, but Louis might think of a plan before that even happens, so to me, it's a 50/50 fight, really, and a K.O is guaranteed to happen.
