@@stratus2441 Dudley Moore was an American actor in a movie in America back then. The movie was about an alcoholic and it was absolutely horrible but it did have a excellent song by a singer named Christopher Cross. If you look him up he had the same hairstyle almost. I don’t think the interviewer was very smart because Joe Lynn was an excellent singer who didn’t get enough credit here in the United States.
@@Vibeagain he likely made a ton of money from 1981 to 1986 but spent it excessively. He mentioned once in a later interview in the late 1990s "the days of mansions are gone"
Maybe this was his hair, the disease may be dorment for periodes of time..besides No one know his condition of alopecia. Today it's a wig, but back then maybe, just maybe...
I found out about the issue just recently. But honestly who cares,we have ladies nowadays injecting 💩 on their butts, lips, wearing extensions, nosejobs and a large etc, he looks hot and fine there i bet that with or without a wig he was just as handsome and he has a sparkly personality
It's not POP, it's AOR!... He is one of the most influential voices of classical AOR. Get familiar with the genres and how wrong you are in your uneducated assumptions.
pop singer? a pop singer doesn't work his vocals to reach that high level of mixer dominance and other vocal techniques. Furthermore, he sings metal like no one else (listen to Oddysey, The belly of the beast or The Devil's Door) you're just a no name bruh
Deep Purple are five guys that many throughout the years kept the machine going. All of them were and are insanely talented, but in my opinion Ritchie Blackmore is the most important member ever to be in Deep Purple. The only Deep Purple albums I have are the ones that Ritchie Blackmore is the lead guitar player. The Deep Purple albums that don't have Ritchie Blackmore on them do nothing for me. In my opinion Ritchie Blackmore was that important to the Deep Purple band. His riffs and songwriting is what made Deep Purple the phenomenal band that they were. As much as I love Deep Purple, I have always loved Rainbow way more. Ritchie had total control in Rainbow while he only had very limited control in Deep Purple because they were mostly all considered equals while he was the leader of Rainbow.
John Katsoudas I think RB had the most say in Purple after In Rock. You are right that he was the main force behind it but he was also the main force in breaking it up. When you have a band as important as Deep Purple Mark 2 you don’t break it up or change singers. If you are not happy you walk away, do some solo stuff with other musicians and you come back and do another album and tour. DP Mark 2 had no limits and could have been as big as Zeppelin and Pink Floyd.

I think all negative comments here are just pure jealousy... He is a Rockstar on top of his career here...! Why wouldn't he "love himself"?... He was a hot sex symbol and all women just adored him and still do...Too bad all of you, negative commentators will never even experience a day in his shoes!... I think people NOT loving themselves is exactly whats, wrong with the world...
