wow… how warped is that kind of thinking. you can only play a game in the present moment. this one was off, right from the start, and they really didn’t get ahead of it. the issues from the last 2 seasons were pretty much solved by KP, Jrue and D. Agree 100%. Add to that the fact that Tatum and Brown positively refuse to transition into vocal leaders for the team, and they’re going nowhere fast. Look at Mitchell, he’s a very vocal leader in addition to his stats.

Hand on heart, when I saw them let Tatum carry the ball up the court to start off the first few possessions, I just called it a loss and started doing chores. They cant win if they are willing to sacrifice the stuff that's working to make JT feel better about how people on twitter, and in the comment section, are talking about him - especially when, like, it kills them when they try to run the offense through him as the initiator, which ultimately makes the comment sections worse. He's terrible at it. He's absolutely outstanding as a hinge threat, starting from off ball - a play killer when he's allowed to start with the ball in his hands. How many times did he take 15 dribbles outside the arc, acting like Strus was secretly Dennis Rodman, before settling on a clanker 3, or an awful turn around? How many of those awful shots turned into transition points for the Cavs? The C's, like, pointedly kept the ball out of Brown's hands, even though there's no one on Cleveland that can guard him. Mazzulla let Pritchard come in, change the tone...and then immediately sat him, and went back to what wasnt working. It was like Rick Carlisle was coaching. The worst game I think they've played this season, and they waited til the playoffs to poop it out.

Same thing I said!! The offense was soo stagnant!! Jt holds the ball waaay too long then either goes ISO with 10 seconds left on the shot clock where he either shoots a bad shot or passes the ball out for a terrible shot. The Cavs made an in game adjustment and Celtics did nothing to counter!! Jt cannot run the offense, they need to find ways to get Jrue involved and move without the ball!! The stand on the three point line waay too much

joe mazzulla coaching was horrible he's just standing there while they was picking on Sam Luke was getting dominated in the paint and in stead of making adjustment joe mazzulla just keep letting them attack attack sam and Luke your the coach take Luke out for a few minutes try Neemias who we all know can battle Mobley and grab rebounds and keep Mobley off the glass we have the personal if the coach uses it instead of let them figure it out it's the playoffs they don't have to figure it out be a coach call timeout and you figure it out if cavs are playing physical put physical guys out there to match there intensity like Neemias queta

D was rough today; half a step off for much of the game. D. White couldn't buy a bucket today (that's really an outlier)!! If you ask the casuals, they believe the 4th seed in the east is an average pushover AND that the Cs aren't supposed to lose... ever! BUT THE TRUTH IS... no team has ever won all their games in an NBA playoff run ... not the MJ Bulls, not even the 2016-17 GSW (16-1). Not. One. Team. Ever. Most of these same loser fans think this team can't hack it-over one loss-even though a very similar unexpected game 2 happened just last series ... & this Cavs team are better than the Heat were. This mindless groupthink is also ahistorical, as if Bill Russell and co. were so perfect they never ever lost a playoff game; as if Bird and co. never ever lost a playoff game.
