NFL Hall of Famer and former University of Alabama quarterback Joe Namath joins CNN's Kaitlan Collins to discuss the retirement of legendary Alabama Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban. #CNN #News
Never beat a 9 win Aub team. No coach is amazing if he never beats his rival when his rival is good. Bowden beat good Miami and FL teams in BOTH of his NC years.
Well Saban took the legacy of Bear Bryant to a whole new level. I'm sure Nick didn't think his career with the Tide was going to be the new standard of football. It's definitely going to take someone with excellent decision making and confidence to get the job done. Whoever is the new coach, as fans, athletes and students, we need to give him time and not fire him after the first year. Let him settle in...as we will continue to ROLL TIDE!!
Happy New Year all, hope whoever is reading this has the best year of there life and that can start with becoming more Christ like and able to leave this world a better place than you found it. If you have not accepted Jesus Christ into your life do so before your last breath. If you have not accepted Jesus Christ into your life, bow your head, close your eyes and from a sincere heart ask him to cleanse you of your sins and be your Lord and Savior.
All the best to Coach Saban, we the fans, could never repay you for what you have given us. Thanks to your family as well - that means you Miss Terry! All the best to the Saban’s!
Broadway Joe! It's impossible for today's young football fans to appreciate the earthquake that Joe Namath and his upstart AFL NY Jets delivered in the third NFL-AFL Championship game - a victory that led to the eventual merger into the NFL we know today! From Wikiedia: "Super Bowl III was an American football game played on January 12, 1969, at the Orange Bowl in Miami, Florida. It was the third AFL-NFL Championship Game in professional American football, and the first to officially bear the trademark name "Super Bowl". Super Bowl III is regarded as one of the greatest upsets in both American football history and in the history of professional sports. The 19 1⁄2 -point underdog American Football League (AFL) champion New York Jets defeated the National Football League (NFL) champion Baltimore Colts by a score of 16-7.*
It's truly amazing how sobriety has transformed Joe Namath. If hadn't got off the booze he would most likely be dead. But now he looks great and sounds great.
Joe hit on it about the impact that Coach Saban. It's reflected in not only the players who went on to the NFL but also the players who left Alabama with their degrees. Coach always took pride in those accomplishments. He's right up there with Coach Bryant as far as Alabama football.
It's great to see Kaitlan Collins covering football!! I'm sure I've said this waaay too many times, She is the Jack Youngblood of journalism. I love her voice, she should do audiobooks. I could listen to her read the dictionary. It'd be AWESOME to see her on ABCs Monday Night Football, can she sing The Party's Over? Absolutely nothing to do with politics. WTH is wrong with you people?
As an Auburn fan, I hate to see him go. I’m a huge college football fan. Nobody ever did it better. Saturdays won’t be the same without Saben on the sidelines!!!!! He’s earned the right to get some rest. But, I still hate to see him go…….
Joe is the first QB to win a national championship and a SB. And with Bart Starr gone, Joe is the first SB-winning QB who's still standing. A true legend in Alabama and NYC, even if his stats don't compare to modern NFL QBs'. Glad he's still sharp and with it.
A NC with a caveat. In 64, they chose the NC before the bowl game. Yes, that was the rules, but with AL losing to TX in the Orange, the loss tainted the feel good about Namath winning. ArK #2 beat Tx.
Broadway Joe was always cool, glad that he still is going strong. But, as an LSU alumnus, I was sad to hear no mention of Nick's great accomplishments there, before trying NFL, then landing in Alabama, but it was an Alabama themed report. LSU fans never got over his defection to their rival, dubbing him 'Nick Satan.' Still, he was a great coach, one of the best. Reminds me of seeing Shaq play for LSU way back when. Fun to watch.

5 out of 10, then 6 out 12 Natys. Played in 8 or 9. 4 Heisman trophy winners. With NIL, portal and 12 team playoff it will be hard to beat those records.
Sometimes these coaches stay to long at a college so the school is not the same unless they are the coach, I think that is what he did, people will be talking about him like Joe just mention his coach who stayed forever with his hat that if you got one every one would talk about the coach how wore it at the university of Alabama.

Learn about the Islamic religion. We were not created in this life just to have fun. We were created in order to worship allah alone, without partners. Allah is the one who created us and created everything. Allah sent Muhammad صل الله عليه وسلم , who is the last of the prophets and messengers, with this message, which is Islam, to guide us to the right path. I also want to tell you that there is eternal life after death *
Зеленский обвинил США в отсутствии денег у пенсионеров на Украине. p.s. клоун не пояснил а нахрена он там нужен, молодой красивый "перспективный" вместе со всей своей гоп компанией? и куда делся их национальный пенсионный фонд?

It's always good to see Joe name. It was a lot of good quarterbacks coming out of the Alabama way before high school. Be quarterbacks, did anywhere else but they never got picked. Look at barkstar Kenny stabler. Joe name of I'll play it in the pros made great quarterbacks. That's something about the University of Alabama. That's why the state never needs a pro football team football Is king in alabama
@ brutishbut delightful, that was really uncalled for. Big badass on utube, probably lead a rough life, feel sorry for you. Most Bama fans aint like that, so be glad they don't know where you live
@@RDBean I'm a 6'3", 240 lb. retired professional wrestler, and TONS of people in north Alabama, southern/eastern Tennessee and western Georgia know damn well who I am. If you can't take a joke, go pound sand in your ass. What, did the joke hit too close to your racist self and make you uncomfortable? Sounds like it.
@@merrittmontgomery7695 I have lived here since 1980. I know Alabama quite well. I can show you the parking lot in my hometown where the KKK used to sell peanut brittle. I can show you an actual colored restroom (it's just an extra women's room now) in an older gas station in a neighboring town. I can show you the rail bridge over the Coosa River where a horribly iconic photo was taken of a black man hanging. I can show you racist pictures in my high-school yearbook. When I was in the first grade, me and another kid did the "gimme five" hand-slap thing and got scolded by the teacher for "acting black". This was apparently a TERRIBLE offense in that whitebread mountain town. The thing is, my mentality is far-removed enough from this sort of thing that I can joke about it. You get butthurt either because you 1) still think this way yourself or 2) your relatives committed some of the atrocities I mentioned and you know it and it makes you feel funny when you see it aired in public.
