as much as I respect Yates' achievements in bodybuilding, it is somewhat bemusing to hear him talk negatively about the bodybuilders of today and the bubble gut phenomena. He was the beginning of that phenomena. By the last leg of his career Dorian's waist was getting very wide and his conditioning looked increasingly worse. Despite his honesty about everything else, it is interesting to note that Dorian is still cagey about exactly what he did drug wise, he never goes into detail, i suspect, because people would be shocked by the dosages and choice of drugs used by the winners. A man of extremes, it is almost certain that his drug usage would be as every bit as extreme as his training. Dorian talks as if he is separate from the current era of bodybuilders, but hes not, hes really the father of it. His pursuit of size and his opponents furious pursuit to match him led to what is happening in bodybuilding currently, the massive abuse of insulin and HGH.

Distended gut = insulin resistance and accumulation of visceral fat. Drugs are making bodybuilder develop what seems to be a metabolic syndrome. The symptoms are the same for everybody, no matter how much muscle you have.
Having a distended gut doesn’t mean you have insulin resistance. You could have an distended gut by simply eating too much fiber, or not properly breaking down foods. Then there’s people with IBS and SIBO, allergens, etc.
It is diabetic neuropathy, it’s one of the four types can’t remember the name but it causes this, Joe rogan has it too and I have it the same as he does. I think it’s due to sugar and not controlling your sugar when on steroids and hGH.. it’s something to do with the stomach not clearing completely as well as water bloating and a host of other symptoms like constipation feeing run down unable to control body temp etc.. it’s a serious thing and not because it bloats you like that
MonteCristo People get distended guts from not breaking down their foods properly, especially fibrous foods like beans, lentils, and other plant matter. If you eat excess fiber, you will bloat. Period. Having a distended gut doesn’t mean you’re a diabetic.
LOl this is garbage and you know it, MonteCristo. You're so far off it's laugable. There's nothing suggesting diabetic neuropathy has anything to do with distended stomach in bodybuilders.

Quality is totally gone all you need to do is look at the Olympia from the 1980s to the Olympia now you will see the massive difference in quality mass. Muscle on the IFBB has distorted into bubble gut nightmares
The photo of Phil Heath, at 20 seconds in, is a doctored photo. His arms are NOT larger than his head in real life. Also, the photo shown at 2:20 is of Joe De Angelis, who passed away in 2015, who did not have that large of a gut in real life. I knew him personally, but not well. There was no way that he ever had that large of a gut ever.
Twice a month? More like twice a week but same dosage for the month. By day 8/9 your test will become lower and estrogen will shoot up. The more frequent you are the less side effects even when it comes to TRT
Just wondering if thisbis a part of male biology. Men tend to get a big gut as they age, and it is dismissed as due to being overweight and obese. All my fat seems to be in my belly and I barely worked out and never used drugs.
its theorized that insulin use causes some of the healthy gut biome to be susceptible to growth from new bacterial colonies in the gut, causing this bloated look
I've never taken insulin or steroids or testosterone or hormones and I have pumboism not as bad as these guys but yeah I drink a lot of beer I always thought it was because of that it also takes an inhuman amount of work to lose the little fat I do get
