Jesse Itzler is an entrepreneur, author, and founder of The 100 Mile Group. Check out his new book "Living With The Monks" available at jesseitzler.com / jesseitzler / the100mileman
Highly recommend everyone either read or listen to the audiobook of Itzler's "Living with a Seal" - it's not only extremely motivational but hilarious and entertaining. The funniest and most incredible parts aren't even the workouts - it's how Goggins is when he isn't working out that is the amazing part. And of course, listen to or read Goggins' "Can't Hurt Me" for the ultimate inspiration.
This podcast changed my life. I could sit here and type everything I have accomplished since hearing about Goggins, but it all started right here with Rogan and Itzler. I am able to accomplish things I always wanted to but never thought I could. I remember feeling sorry for myself on 5 June 2018 and seeing the notification for this pop up and tuning in. Never underestimate yourself. These men say it way better than I can.
I bloody LOVE how Jessie says 'No' to people. It's so blunt and could be seen as rude, but he knows what his time is worth and how he wants to spend it. Good on him. This is a great episode.
Sun Rabbit yeah he has always been pretty sincere about his understanding of life. You just need to listen to his podcasts n every once in a while he will grace us with his knowledge haha
"If I think tomorrow, im just going to coast and eat twinkies and watch tv, oh hello sadness my old friend, hello depression. Because when you arent doing anything you feel like shit." I strongly agree with this statement. I have realized the importance of "feeding your mind" years ago and try to educate friends and family that are experiencing depression. I think that keeping busy and challenging yourself can drastically change our mental health. Keep up the good work Joe, these podcasts have the ability to enlighten our communities.
Joe's speech around the 1hr15-25 mark is AMAZING. Seriously amazing, encompassing, and motivational. One of the best segments I've heard on all of his podcasts, and I've listened to most of them.
Joe dropped another piece of brilliance again around 1:16:50 as he explains happiness. I don't think he realizes he's in his moment when this takes place. Thanks for another vitamin Joe!
58:25 I'm listening at 1.50x while i work. That got meta af.

Both of you are missing the point. The life that the Monks live at the monastery is all based around PRESENCE. Not sacrifice, not Devotion, not doing nothing. They are deeply present with themselves and everything around them --this is why they are such great dog trainers as dogs and animals can sense one presence and calmness. There have been a lot of animal studies on this.
Rogan is solid for not throwing Rosanne to the wolves.. just saw cast members sell out.. Don’t always agree with Rogan but damn we need more people like him who understand basic common decency and integrity
Rogan is rich enough that he doesn't have to play by the rules. These cast members livelihood depends on how they react to situation like this. Not really fair to compare them.
What a great interview! Rogan, Goggins and Itzler have figured it out! Keep challenging yourself, fight through the pain and unlock the power your mind has over your body! Listening to this podcast has made me a better and more balanced "knuckle dragger" and for that, I can only say "thanks"!
Joe you are a preacher and I love to hear you preach about life, happiness and the type of people you should live your life with. Keep up the good work sir and thank you!
Jesse is the man. He crushed it at the Arete syndicate event this weekend. “Remember tomorrow” is his quote. I spent a week in a Greek Orthodox monastery in the Arizona desert. Very peaceful
This specific podcast has motivated me, Joe. Thank you brother. And thank you Jesse. I'm going to stop being scared, put my neck out there and attempt to use my many talents to make a steady and plentiful income. The universe knows my baby boy deserves the life I never had. Wish me luck!
Just finding this now after reading David Goggins'' "Can't Hurt Me: Master Your Mind and Defy the Odds" and then Jesse Itzler's "Living with a SEAL: 31 Days Training with the Toughest Man on the Planet" and both books were so good, I found myself continuously looking up Jesse & Goggins, which has now led me here. Only 10 minutes in, but looking forward to listening to the rest of the podcast. Jesse is a beast!
strange feeling today, listening to Joe Rogan podcast very often, I just realized I love this guy. I do not know why and how this is happened, but I came here every day to listen to him. very starnge, I told you. Have anyone experienced something like this?
1:35:50 "I actually went home, and then asked him to come, ...and he said yes, and then I told my wife after" One of the most revealing parts of the interview.
I have been blessed to benefit from Jesse Itzler personally . I must say this guy has a heart of gold. Selfless is how I would describe him. Thanks Jesse
The rich entrepreneur advice part is the one that I like the most. The conclusion for me is that we should enjoy the process while we're hustling/ working towards our goals. I love your podcast because we can learn from your guests, valuable/inspiring life lessons and insights. Thanks!
Around the 25/30 minute mark Joe talks about distractions and how you free up your mind when you deny input. I tried that after and my mind felt so creative and productive. It truly does free up your mind and it was really refreshing. Thanks Joe.
listening to this, 34, jobless, wasted my 20s on a deep depression and bipolar disorders, finally on some meds that leveled me out, trying to move forward but making me feel depressed again bc I lost so much time. sucks.
Jesse tells him how Goggins made him run 10 miles in a blzzard, grabs a boulder smashes a whole in a frozen lake having Jesse jump in threatening his life with hypothermia and Joe says, "What's the hardest thing he made you do?" Lol I think that's hilarious
Great podcast. He's so right about when you hit your 50's, and you become very conscious of the value of your remaining time. His wife sounds amazing too. I wish that I had Jesse's girl.
SHE4RER I can't stand the way he talks for whatever reason. EVERYTHING about his voice grates on me - his tone, infections, teeth whistle with words, accent, attitude, etc. Maybe if someone could narrate for him, MAYBE I'd watch. Lol. No hate on you or your comment; it's all toward McConaughey. Haha!
Im not stoned but im smoking a cigarette and taking a dump. Not as euphoric as your situation but this is the only alone time that a husband/father gets. Fuck it, it beats being at work either way! Lol
This was the most impactful episode in a while for me. I've been in a really unhealthy adversarial relationship with time and obligations and this helped a lot.
Fabulous Episode. Maybe my favorite so far. I’m also really impressed with comments here too. Everyone seems to have such a great response. You did it again Joe Rogan.Keep them coming!✨
