Been doing DDPY for almost 200 days in a row, Intermediate level. I'm a 56 year old woman, and the changes in my body every week stun ME! Also has the most supportive online community In The World. I was going to buy a cane, bought DDPY DVDs instead. Glad I went this way!
Does anybody know how/when Stone Cold went from a beer drinker to a wine sipper? Apparently he doesn't drink beer in his private life much anymore... if at all.
I have never considered yoga until today. I am going to give it a shot. I am a disabled vet as well, but I am starting from a better physical point than Arthur was in, my damage is more brain so I CAN DO THIS.
Very happy to hear that DDP is helping my fellow disabled vets. There’s nothing more noble than that. Just for that I will but his products. I can tell he’s a genuine person.
I just want to share a quick story about this video. 6 years ago I had a massive opioid addiction to oxy's perks methadone you name it. I felt like I was doomed and stuck with it forever because everytime I tried to quit the withdraw was unbearable. Then I saw this video (Never Give Up) and I was so moved by it. I told myself if this guy can go from never being able to walk again to running full out down a sidewalk then there is nothing stopping me from quitting. That was 6 years ago and I've been clean for 5 years and I honestly have that video to thank for it. Its a strong message to anyone out there that feels like the odds are against them.
Appreciated to both of you but I'm not looking for congrats or anything. More so hoping some out there in a similar state as I was will see this and maybe gain some Hope or strength from it. I know the video they show in this clip certainly changed me for the better because it helped to know I wasn't the only one struggling against what felt like unbeatable odds.
@@mattc6145 your mission is a success! As I've been on opioids since 14 im now 32 i live a very active lifestyle with steelfixing as my day job and bmx ect ect but cant get off them,,I've been to an in house rehab they got me on the methadone to wean me off but that just fucks your teeth,,ended up back steelfixing amd back on the medz,,i broke my leg 7 times amd now is 2.3cm shorter then the other leg,,doesnt sound like much but being uneven literally kills my back in compensating for the difference,,do you think that video will help or not much point,,,atm im on 80-120mgs every 4hours
Dude him talking about the hell in a cell match, his japanese deathmatches, the "that'll put butts in the seats" incident would be great for rogan's fans to hear
First time I watched this I thought DDP is just an over-eager salesman, but after that Jake the Snake's podcast, man you gotta give DDP a lot of respect.
Actually he is an over-eager salesman and for good reason. Anyone selling actual "transformation" like this should be this eager. It's great. Good for him and anyone providing something actually worthwhile. DDP should be 100x wealthier than the f'king Kardashians.
It did more for me than the $10's of thousands in Physical therapy ever did. I was in a real bad car accident in 1993 and shouldn't even be alive but I had a separated shoulder and 2 blown discs amongst numerous other injuries (3 cracked ribs, broken nose, cracked cheekbone) but for 20 years fought off the urge to take opiates or pain killers because I knew this was going to last the rest of my life and thus it would be impossible to not get addicted but it was becoming unbearable and I have one of the highest pain threshholds my doctor has ever seen. I had been toying with the idea of trying DDP Yoga for a few years but it was a video with Chris Jericho that Page posted that got me to pull the trigger. I'm not going to tell you I'm 100% pain free and as good as I was when I was at 33 before my accident but I have absolutely no need to take addictive pain killers. Don't get me wrong, I'm no saint and while I seldom drink anymore I do like to partake in my favorite herb which also seems to help manage the pain a bit too. But I've seen first hand what a nightmare becoming addicted to opiates can be and it ain't pretty
Man... that video of the guy going from crutches to sprinting... damn! You are a beast. This is why I have ditched traditional and social media both, and started listening to new ideas via podcasts. Especially this podcast. Thank you DDP for doing your part to help people. Thank you Joe for bringing the millions like me this amazing content and entertainment. You guys are both making the world a better place. It is truly inspiring.
@@native307 dunno Dallas never expressed his political opinion. But he does admire trump as a go getter. He's one of the rare sincere people who just want to help people. Plus as a word of advice. Don't always judge a person on their political beliefs. Even if someone ideologically opposed to yourself they still might a great person under that label. You know man... - libratarion liberal.
Pro wrestlers have some of the most amazing stories out there.I'm a huge wrestling fan, but now a-days I'm more or so into the history of some of these guys. It's quite amazing stuff
Look at my pro pic. I know. lol Im a fan. Thats why i said more please. He makes fun, but hed get more hits, and they have the best stories. I think hed benefit from jericho, austin, bischoff, and even conrad and prichard. Cmon joe, tell us youre all in. lol Better late than never. lol
He really should get more wrestlers on. Steve Austin, Mick Foley, Chris Jericho, Daniel Bryan would be interesting, Kurt Angle? I'd love to hear his story more than reading it.

Veteran: hey docs during my service in the military I suffered severe knee injuries can you help me? Medical Doctors: welp if it hurts dont walk. Here's some crutches and some scrips. WWE wrestler: Hey brother I got you I'm not gonna rest until you're walking again.
I’m 31. Was an avid mixed martial artist and motorcycle racer. Those passions took their toll on my body and in 2011 at 23 I had to have reconstructive spine surgery that failed. A few months prior to that I endured a malpractice procedure that left me with severe nerve damage in my legs including some completely severed nerves. My injuries are permanent and I’ve accepted when countless doctors have told me that I will be in severe pain and on heavy pain meds the rest of my life. A. Few months ago in July, I broke two vertebrae and the adjoining discs ruptured into those vertebral spaces. I used to be quietly offended when people would suggest yoga. After watching the video in this podcast about the disabled veteran with very similar injuries to myself, I have been more than inspired to give yoga a try which is something I NEVER thought I would. This has been truly profoundly inspiring for me. Im very thankful for Joe’s podcast and the guests he has on, especially this one. Just goes to show, no matter how bad off you are, no matter how many people tell you that “you can’t”, YOU CAN. Accepting that you cant do something is the biggest disservice you can do for yourself. What do you have to lose by trying? You have everything to gain. NEVER take no for an answer.
Joe getting choked up over that guy losing the weight and being able to run again is why I'm a fan. He has his douche moments occasionally, we all do. But the man is fucking rock solid, a great human, that genuinely wants to see people get along and do better. You're a real role model in a world devoid of them Mr. Rogan.
I don't know, it's such an obvious in-your-face tear jerker to the max, I can't get excited about it. Yeah, the guy had a problem, he worked on it, great. Stop with the soft-ass music and the manipulative tag lines.
I love DDP. He opened his home to guys he worked with who were addicts and helped them get clean. Then he found a way to take what helped him, help others. He's Americana. Using free market to benifit those that make up the "market". We need more of this! God Bless DDP. Just downloaded your app. Former Firefighter/Paramedic with bad back, knee and hand problems/pain. I'm gonna give this a go. Thanks bro. Seriously, thanks.
That would be incredible. Steve would have to adjust himself allot since he mainly talks about deep business stuff that Joe doesn't know about but he could teach him to respect wrestling with how much really goes into it all
chasing dragons that is true. I feel like Steve can tell him about his struggles and injuries and addictions that not only he overcame, but also what former wrestlers are going through now. Plus I feel like they have a lot more in common.
DDP deserves every accolade going. He was told he was too old to break in to the business but he did it. Then Vince bought out WCW and screwed DDP's character up and he still became a massive star. and now he is helping people.
@@lordskittles14 well it all started with my mom having cramps and sharp pains in her vaginal region to the extent she could barely move without aid of a cane. DDP convinced her she needed his special brand of yoga in order to retain movement. So they did a private session with him and coolest thing of all jake the snake was there with them. Well they tried his yoga for nearly a whole 30 minutes with no results. Thats when the snake man suggested an old tyme remedy that worked on all the nitro girls and awesome kong... The legendary DDP Yogurt! Packed full of probiotics and natural healing fluids. Great idea exclaimed the legend. A drippy gooey sticky trip to the diamond mines will surely do the trick! He proceeded to fill her goo hole with extra doses of medicine as Jake began to snake her throat in order to help with her asthma. As she stood up after the session tired and disorientation and unable to see straight Diamond Dallas Screamed BANG! Diamond Cutta! My mom woke up a week later still in pain and seemingly no better but still continues the sessions. Go figure
i think Joe Rogan is respecting wrestling the way the most fans are - we love the old school legends wrestling, we like to avoid tal;king about current mainstream wrestling. (be fair to me, i totally lost interest in wrestling in 2018)
@@JaculaDudek I would strongly suggest checking out AEW, they do things very much like in the 90's and also check out NWA Power, a modern take on 80s wrestling and is a solid show! Also New Japan are really strong ATM, gearing up for their biggest show of the year... Basically if the only thing you watched was WWE then there are loads of options for good wrestling out there at the moment :)
@@volrath__ dude, i know enough about wrestling to know that WWE is a shitshow except NXT, TNA is pretty much dead as usual, NJPW is getting ready for WK14 though their star power is down, NWA was great but that Cornette fiasco took me out of it alraedy and AEW ... this shit is terrible except for Jericho and Cody. Naah thanks, i will pass, i enjoy wrestling-less life
philpotm8 it still is. just gotta look harder. if you're interested, this is the most interesting, varied, and talent packed time to hop back into it. maybe dodge wwe. watch some pwg, njpw, roh, progress or independent shows.
Feel where you coming from bro, but it just takes digging a little deeper than WWE to find entertaining pro wrestling these days! It’s evolved just as anything else

The video of the vet who ignored the Drs and so called professionals who told him he would never run completely changed my life. I had a bad accident at work and was unable to walk properly, at one stage i was temporarily numb from the waist down. One morning after a terrible night of pain, discomfort and thoughts, my brother sent me this video and said, “Bro you can do anything you put your mind too, i believe in you xmlx”. Well after 18 months yoga, strength & conditioning and building muscle i was participating in a charity boxing fight for my first fight back and playing football again(unfortunately i was unable to return to semi pro, this did not dishearten me. To the contrary, it encouraged me to push) Each time i have a relapse or see someone else in a similar position, i think back to where i was, what i went through and where i am now. Power of thought.
NickPDX22 it really works if you push through the pain and follow it all. I have MS and had very little mobility. I’m a huge wrestling fan and got his stuff just to try to to see how it goes. It was so hard at the start and I wanted to quit but I pushed through it and it helped me so much. Can now walk again freely without any crutches, have all my flexibility back and I feel strong again.
Good luck bro. It has helped me. I’ve had 11 knee surgeries and 2 shoulder surgeries and the stiffness and soreness got unbearable. It has helped more than I ever imagined. Praying it helps you bro.
I have no words.Just INCREDIBLE!!! I am working towards more weight loss myself. I got a stomach bug and I'm still fighting with it. I have been diagnosed with H-Pylori. I don't think I will ever get over it. I have lost 150 so far. Had my up and downs with my weight, but, I have gotten back on my snowboard after a 12 year hiatus from it because I had gained too much weight to ride. I have had a total life change. I need to get into this DDP program.
I was afflicted with patellofemoral pain syndrome when i was 21 this also branched out into serious issues with both the coordination of my quad and hamstring muscles as well as my glutes. In addition I also had cubital tunnel syndrome in both of my elbows due to improper form when lifting weights. due to all of this it practically disabled me and luckily working in the aviation field I didn't have to do much manual work so I could keep my job but I was definitely having to split my effort between keeping my job and trying to mend myself as best I could. It got sort of dark and of course with all that pain came a lot of anger. And of course this put a strain on my relationships. Luckily one day when I was pretty down I saw that video of Arthur and Dallas. After seeing the video I ended up buying all of the Dallas yoga that I could get and it ended up practically rebuilding a lot of the weaknesses in my body as well as giving me way more flexibility that I needed to practically undo all the damage that I've done to myself. With this and some additional work that I received from doctors I was able to create a rehab program that got me back on my feet as well as allow me to use my arms again. Without Diamond Dallas Page's yoga routine I would still be years behind where I am now. It also unlocked a requirement and a passion to learn more about how Anatomy works and how my body works and I can happily say that now I am at 99% of where I once was. Diamond Dallas Page is the real deal.
@@brendanking5749 thank you for sharing, very inspiring story, you know have inspiring me, keep up the great work. If you every upload a video of your story on D Dallas channel please do share. How long did it take you to fully recover? And what did the doctors do that also helped you?
Gotta get Chris Jericho on. Top 5 Greatest Wrestler of All-Time, doing World Tours with his Rock band Fozzy, and has one of the top podcasts in the world. He’d be a great guest
I’d love to hear him talk to Joe about the Rock N Wrestling Rager at Sea, his cruise that goes from Miami to Nassau, Bahamas on Oct 27-31. It’s a fucking cruise with wrestling, rock, and comedy. The lineup on this cruise is insane too. Rock: Corey Taylor (of Slipknot), Fozzy, Phil Campbell, etc. Comedians: Ron Funchess, Craig Gass, Brad Williams, etc Wrestlers: Jericho, Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes, Young Bucks, Johnny Impact, etc Plus: Jim Ross, Jerry “The King” Lawler, Mick Foley, Rey Mysterio, & Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat. AND DDP is doing DDPY classes everyday lol
Other former pro wrestlers I want to see on the JRE: - Stone Cold Steve Austin - "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair - Scott Hall (Razor Ramon) - Bret "The Hitman" Hart

Jo Po i have seen many interviews & listened to many podcasts, he's not a shill. he lives that shit. he believes in it more than anybody, and, to be honest, you can't really argue with his results. he has saved many lives.
@@Rossa4444, He never would have stopped plugging shit, if Joe hadn't repeatedly veered him off course from his salsmen shtick -- he's obsessed w himself. I bet he's wearing a beat-up pair of high top Pony's.
The Egg i suppose he did go a bit overboard with the selling but i also learned a lot about the guy. Plus the end goal of these podcasts is for the person to promote themselves or their product, he just wasn’t subtle about it
Joe I’m sure you’re not going to see this but I broke my leg while rock climbing. I was a ballet dancer my whole life and got into climbing in July of 2018. I broke my leg falling 9 feet and landing on one leg. I couldn’t walk for 3 months, let alone exercise. My girl broke up with me because I was a hassle. I was 165 when I was climbing and I got up to 190. Now I’m 175 bulked up and getting back into things. This video moved me immensely and I needed to see it thank you.
That is amazing! Thanks for sharing, even though I'm not Joe Rogan. By the way, that ex girlfriend of yours is the biggest loser EVER in the history of the world. Cheers :)
A lot of wrestlers have amazing stories and can talk their asses off like ddp. All those guys from the attitude era of wrestling know how to work a mic
This is the interview was my introduction to yoga and gave me hope when I was laying in bed, unable to move, after a spinal surgery. Thank you both. I’m so appreciative.
Thank you for this yoga video. I have been disabled for over 25 years. Eight months ago, I decided I was no longer going to be a sick person. I had a myriad of medical conditions. I took copious amounts of opiates plus other pain medications a day. I used oxygen 24/7. I have so much metal, the security alarm goes off at Kohl's. I focused on positivity and determination to recapture my lost life. I am doing it now medication free and oxygen free and scooter free....I am better. My body is remembering what it is supposed to do. No one, not even my physicians, can believe how much better I am now. I simply made up my mind that pain was a sensation, it would not kill me. Now I am headed into a new endeavor...DDP Yoga. My son told me if I would go completely sugar free, he would get the programs for me. My month will be up Feb. 5. Watching this video has been a huge inspiration for me. I am 65, past body builder...I never give up. I used to be a member of the gym that Diamond Dallas owned. I am going to be able to do the things I used to do. You are absolutely correct in saying it is 85% positive attitude.
Wooooooo! Been doing that since we kids were fighting over who got to be Ricky Steamboat when we'd have wrestling matches on Nannies's bad while she was at work, of coarse. We'd all unlatch her door with a butter knife and get hopped up on her Cokes and snack cakes. Good times. Haven't thought about this in a long time but that woooo definitely still gets me gassed up !💪 Thank you Joe and DDP💚
Self promotion is bred into all great Professional Wrestlers especially the guys from back in the Territory Days that Page came out of .... A lot of people don't realize it but both Page and Jericho were pro wrestling pioneers on the Internet and both had their own websites (Union of Diamond Cutters and The Lion's Den) well before WWE or WCW had one. Jericho even had a message board on his where you could leave question or just BS about wrestling and he'd jump in when he wasn't working. Jericho would also post Quicktime videos of his better matches at house shows and while it would take you 5-10 minutes to download a 60 second 240p clip (This is still the 56K modem days) it was always worth the time, especially since no one else including WWE and WCW were doing that yet in pro wrestling. This was still the pre-Troll per-Spam era of the Internet but Jericho eventually had to shut the message board down because Trolls and Spammers had ruined it. Page had a email list which was sort of a precursor to podcasting and would send a a long email every week and they'd include links to videos on his website. This was all years before streaming full resolution video was even possible on the Internet.
It works. It really does. Been doing it for about a year with my mom after she was diagnosticated with arthritis and fibromyalgia, so any kind of excersise that stresses her articulations it's out of the question. I've lost arround 25 pounds (I've always been kinda husky but not really fat) and gained a lot of upper and core strength. But, more importantly, my mom has had ZERO crysis this year, she's been better than ever, like she's not even sick.
How do you not stay down. I have lived with severe depression for 22 yrs. I can’t escape it. No matter how little I think of it or if I try to think positive I end up in a hole of quick sand the more I fight the faster I sink.
@@dontfeelcold Yes, good for DDP and anyone selling actual "transformation" like this. If one of the heroic Kardashians asked you to click on their photo, which makes them millions, then it wouldn't be a problem.
really great podcast. Not an "infomercial" as others inmply. Although ddp does mentioned his stuff going on, but cross promotion at this level is really a good thing so viewer s can pursue their interests further. Shows the depths of diamond dallas pages' personallity that i never know existed. I watched him as kid about 1991.
I started watching towards the end of Jake's and DDP's careers, and then through the Attitude Era. God these guys really are hard asses. The dude's in his 60's and he looks in better shape now than when he was wrestling!
Arthur’s story is what sold me on the program. I had a scooter accident and landed on my head. I thought my fitness life was over, nothing helped me heal, not Yoga, not weight training. DDP Yoga has saved me from a lifetime of pain. I’m five weeks into the program, and my core, neck, and arms are ripped. I’m doing seven days a week I’m in the best shape of my life. I love the Diamond Cutter 2.0, 10-second push-ups, 100 push-up challenge (I’m up to 40), Stand-Up, and Red Hot Core.
DDP visited our FOB in Iraq 2004. Headhunter FOB was in one of the most dangerous places in Iraq at the time. He is a really authentic and good guy. Much respect.
I haven't watched wrestling since the attitude era. But pro wrestlers have great fuckin stories, I watch guys like this all the time. Pro wrestling is such a wild racket it just breeds guys with loads of wild stories. It's just a really grueling circus.
Powerful! Thanks for all of the inspiration. I'm pushing past childhood injuries--was in a bodycast and had to learn to walk again--and am working on going from 400 pounds down to my ideal weight. But more than anything, just working on finding my limits and breaking past them! I need inspiration, so thanks.
This was a fantastic discussion. Normally (depending on the guest), I mentally kinda dip in and out depending on the chat at that moment in time (or just watch a few JRE clips that interest me) but this, I was glued from start to finish (and two hours feels like two minutes here). There's a bunch of folks in the wrestling industry that would make for compelling discussions to hear. I think a chat with Heyman would be pretty cool - I suspect it would be a GREAT insight into Brock Lesnar too. A chat with Cornette would be funny but probably a complete shitshow by the end of it. Jericho, Bischoff and/or Stone cold would be good too (maybe Jim Ross but I suspect he'd not reveal much).
Injuries ended up becoming vacations. And I am only on the Indy scene doing two shows a week. After sixteen years I am hobbled by injuries. I'm going to start his program ASAP. I want to keep working u til the wheels fall off, but if I can keep that from happening until I'm in my fifties. Then I can play catch with my son through highschool. Thank you DDP you were the man, you are the man and O should have listened five years ago before all the pain crept into my life.
i started ddpy, back in august of 2016, which was 4 months removed from a brain aneurysm and stroke, I was able to hike a mountain for my 1 year anniversary of my stroke. I have continued to do the program 5 days a week and am in better shape then ive ever been before. This program is amazng
