Hey Joe. To be clear everyone dislikes this particular video because of how dumb the guest is, but we all GREATLY appreciate how you handled this guy. The dislike goes to him and not to you. You did a great job in questioning and debating him.
Lostin Thegarden I think it's fair to dislike the video to let Joe/Jamie know that the guest wasn't received well by fans. *Edit* I actually find it refreshing to hear a guest that disagrees with Joe.
Dane No because then they wouldn’t be able to take the easy platform created to the intellectual high ground. When all it really does is exemplify how little intelligence they have.
James Kolesnikovich I mean do what you want but it just doesn't make sense. It is quality content. Just because his guest is a moron, doesn't mean this podcast is bad
Damn fucking straight. I wonder if these people realize that the frontal cortex of the brain isn't fully developed till 25-30yrs old? How could they even think that a 7 yr old can make that type of choice in any capacity? Saddening and gross.
Funny how these social justice morons preach about consent and rape culture then turn around and say it's perfectly acceptable to perminately stunt the development of a child through evasive drugs, impacting both their gender and sexuality, before the child can legally consent.
He's not entirely wrong here. It's poorly said, but food is broken down into ATP eventually, which the muscle converts to mechanical force (energy). But it is funny as hell to hear it said that way.
As controversial as this episode was I can at least appreciate that he came on to talk. This is what we always should do instead of screaming at each other. Have a civil discussion. We‘re only human.
I'm pretty sure he was too deep into his own bullshit too see it coming. The guy is pretty dumb after all. Even if he was, he might be just after attention no matter how foul it is.

But anyone with a brain can tell Joe thinks he's full of shit and shows over and over again that he's wrong. This is the perfect example of how dumb Joe really is (and you guys that are commentating). Too bad the guest can't back up many of the things he says, and he argues for them in a horrible way, however he is right on many of the points made.

Lol I was just trying to explain this someone else in the comments. Dude literally kept trying so hard to try and make a point that some women aren't into guys who workout and are in shape lmao, or that alpha males don't exist. Can see a shit ton of projection here and psuedo intellectual bs about transgenders.
Water is not wet. Wet is a status that is relative: when a substance or surface is surrounded/encompassed with a liquid. Water itself is a liquid, and thus the *body* of water is the substance. If utilizing the actual concept of "wet," you could say something like "I put oil on the water, so it is now wet (because the oil is the liquid added to make the primary substance "wet" ) or vice versa." But you can't say water is wet by trying to separate one singular H2O from the rest of it. By that bar, steel is "wet." The other angle is liquid vs solid. Inwhich case, H20 is a liquid, and in that state it is not wet. Added an ice cube? The ice is wet, the water is just water.
@@shortafroman4 aight so the water molecules surround and 'encompass' each other in the mass of liquid, making water 99.9% wet other than the outermost layer of water molecules no?
I really enjoyed how joe doesn’t go after adam. He lets him have the floor often and doesn’t say anything inflammatory. Very respectful attitudes on both sides
There are a lot of internal inconsistencies within politics of people like him, and that means that those ideas don't ring true. One major example is him saying that masculinity is a way broader concept than what is commonly culturally imposed on us, and on the other hand stating that trans people need hormones to be the gender that they believe themselves to be. A way better way of doing things is to teach people to accept who they naturally are rather than trying to fit a predefined imposed set of standards that they can't evenn hope to meet.
Charlie Milroy agreed. That is what I don’t understand about this movement. They claim that male and female is a social construct. Who we are as male and female is derived from thousands of years of experiences and history. These characteristics were never forced on us by anyone. But for someone who feels they are the gender they were not born as, they say they need to take hormones to be more of the “social construct “. They strongly contradict each other. If there is no male or female then whatever reproductive organs shouldn’t matter. Why can’t you be more male or female without changing your chemistry? I mean it’s just a social construct? Right?? Lol
wolf j loophole “some people just don’t want to accept facts”. Everything Adam says is an opinion that he packages as facts because his team ‘did some research’
@dave c who is the Alpha? Idk, probably the General or the Commander.. the military is literally the worst example you could've used to 'disprove' hierarchy
@danimalcollective1 👏 so happy somebody's carrying the flag. It's science denial, plan and simple. Breastfeeding is beneficial, on more than one level.
@@Chris-Christopher- I totally agree with your first statement. BUT you lost me a Nazi. To the left EVERYONE is a Nazi. The word is completely meaningless in 2019. Joe Rogan in many ways is very liberal. He is no where near alt-right. Again, just because you have a different opinion, the left sees you as "alt-right". Joe is Joe. He is not transphobic in any way. He just believes in facts and science.
Joe: *makes a statement* Adam: “ I don’t agree with that” Joe: “here’s some evidence and anecdotes that support my statement” Adam: “the evidence doesn’t fall within my narrow world view, therefore it is false” Joe: “can you explain why you think it’s false?” Adam: “no”
"Well I personally, uh, I have a friend that, you know, is tangentially, like, related to this, uh, nonsense idea, you know? And I'm, like, not an expert here, but, uh, that means I'm right because, you know, it's uh, like, one example, right?"
Because he operates on feelings and can't explain why they trump the facts, only that they do. Somehow. Most noticeably evident where he's talking about trans people competing in sports and "gender neutral" bathrooms - "people are getting hurt because we can't just let them do what they want." Meaning, their FEELINGS are hurt, which is more important to him than a biological male breaking a woman's face in MMA or dressing up as a woman and attacking little girls in public washrooms. Did you seem him dismiss those points? Disgusting little worm.
Such a weak way to subtlety suggest to other people that you are right and that they agree with you. It's the type of shit flat earthers do. I was talking to a flat earther at a party who was starting every sentence by saying "I think you will agree that..." after a couple of those I interrupted with "don't tell me what you think I will and won't agree with, just make your claim and then I will either agree or debunk it..."

You should take your 89 likes and feel very accomplished with yourself. 👏👏 Oops, 90+. What we all have in common is confused hatred for a successful liberal snowflake man who doesn't fit the alpha male ideology people are jumping on grenades for! He's stupid and our feelings are hurt because his facts make your own masculinity feel inadequate. Let's create a support group for abused Alpha males who are being censored online! Actually better yet, let's bring some facts of our own to the table to support your character attack or just move on and keep your ignorance to yourself.
Justin Union Oh the ingorant RU-vid commenter triggered after seeing his soyboy hero laid out; How tragic. You strike me as someone who is incredibly gullible, do you really think he is an intellectual? He is a showman, capitalizing financially off a society in a downward spiral. If you actually believe this man spends his days researching topics, then why does he ignore Rogans facts and opinions rather than actually debating them?
Adam strikes me as someone who is trying to be all inclusive, who is trying not to offend anyone, and who doesn’t want backlash from the public that could effect his career. He seems to be over thinking every reply because he’s talking to Joe- who isn’t afraid to discuss opinions, meanwhile Adam isn’t comfortable doing that without facts in front of him. 🤷🏼♀️ I mean yeah, he states his opinion along the lines of him being for humanity but again- that’s the all inclusiveness he’s striving for. It’s ironic but I wouldn’t judge the man too harshly for it

MIKE LARSON yea I don't understand people who say Joe were aggressive or "owning" Adam. Thats just a problem in the west. In most other countries, while some people might be beta simps, most men are still real men. Granted that we have a long way yet to go on equality, but I hope we don't lose masculinity in the process like it is occurring in western nations and other developed countries.
I don’t rly think what he’s saying is entirely wrong. Evolution definitely plays on a role in who the sexes choose, but society also plays a decent role as well. Adam is doing a complete shit job of explaining himself and he’s not conceding to joe’s very valid points
Joe handled this moron of a guest really well, but Adam is probably one of the, if not THE worst guest on this show after almost 1300 episodes. Props to Joe for grilling this man, as per
Adam needed to do some research on Joe rogan. Joe knows when he has something undeniable. No matter how many times you address the situation, or how many angles you come at it. Joe wont let it go and he wont let you win, he is perfectly fine repeating it and stirring the pot again and again. its logic at the expense of emotion, at the expense of understanding anyones feelings or motives, and I f-cking love it. You got schooled adam, talking faster and louder does not win a intellectual war of attrition. The is no level of uncomfortable Joe isn’t willing go.
Joe actually defends his side if he considers himself well versed in a subject. And he has done a lot of research and thinking about hormones in kids, trans in womens sports etc.
Plague Doc saying, trans people are experts on the science of transgenderism and they know the most about whether a kid should be given hormone blockers is about as dumb as saying fat people are experts on metabolism and they should be the ones deciding if a 6 year old eats McDonald’s everyday.

TIME NEEDS TO BE SPENT ON IDEAS any thing less is doing exactly what adam is doin... telling people what he thinks and having blind followers,
I laughed when he said he actively seeks out opinions from people he disagrees with. I highly doubt that was true. This podcast seems like the first time he has ever heard a counterargument to any of his beliefs.
Matthew G horrible. He’s pretty much everything he’s describing besides trans. His arguments don’t make logically sense. People like him are the worse! They seemed informed like he’s educated but he’s really just saying bs
Not really, ''progressive'' drones rarely leave their echo chamber. If anything they'll assume the downvotes and comments are Russian bots or a alt right smear campaign from /pol/. Seriously, i can see the Buzzfeed article already .
Do you actually think that he writes every single episode of a show that has almost weekly episodes by himself? He plays a persona these are his opinions lmao
Do you think Adam rewatches this podcast while crying and eating ice cream wishing he was still relevant? He should have stayed home and been a keyboard warrior, Twitter division.
I like to think he comes to the realisation that he is likely wrong on a lot of things and that he has been manipulated into his psyche by his environment.
So as a fan of both people here, I love hearing a discussion between 2 people with opposing views and studies, and this is how we grow as human beings intellectually. But dear God Adam it would be nice to have some clear speaking, the amount of ums and uhs is painful, not one to demean someone's speech, but people take you more seriously on your show because you speak clearly and directly, mixing noise into all the gaps blurs the ability to consume the material. Joe's points are clear, yours are so muddy that comparing point to point is extremely difficult.
Yeah because they are humans and humans are pretty much wired to trust parental units and by extension other adults. So when adults have always told you or by majority at least, the truth, then they tell you something that you have absolutely no experiential context to contradict, you will literally invent 'logic' to support and incorporate that information into your world view. So yeah they dont 'understand' it but if you lead them enough they will pretend they do until that pretense seems like fact to them.
True. I think Joe should have found a way to cut this episode off at the 90 minute mark. Maybe text Brenden and have him come in and act like there’s an emergency or something. Just to stop this nonsense.
That was definitely not merciful. Unless you consider constant interruptions and talking down to someone as merciful. I mean, he was right almost every time IMO, but he was also being a dick.
Joe’s interview style is so brilliant with people who have 0 clue what they are talking about. He makes them back up their idiot options while being completely non-confrontational. A could of well placed “really?”’ questions make these smug idiots spiral right out of control.
A tall, strong and handsome man being liked by women is a hypothetical 5 minutes later Imagine a man who doesn't believe in climate change, met his wife at an anti-climate change function and has written multiple books against climate change, his WHOLE LIFE is consumed by the thought of a static climate
I got pissed at that TOO! I thought no one else noticed! I think he was biting his tongue because he doesn't want to lose his trans/leftist friends nor get backlash for agreeing with Joe.
Joe: "Name a sport where Men's speed and power don't give advantage over woman." Adam: "Well... there is a sport. Well..... Woman.... they...... sports...... air rifle..... Men make the sports.... Let me talk to my buddy who is a basketball."
Didn't you know?... We just have to invent a sport that requires no physical activity. I love that air rifle and gymnastics are the best examples he could come up with... as if the reason men don't do the uneven bars is because women are inherently better at it! Lol. The men do the high bar, the rings, the parallel bars, the pommel horse... There's nothing unique about the uneven bars.
And notice he said "air rifle" not Three Gun, USPSA, IPSC, Trap/Skeet etc, for two reasons. 1. He doesn't know about them (ignorant) and 2. Shooting sports being some of the most gender inclusive would be a real nut-punch to the anti-gun narrative.
Yeah, he’s an idiot. Most of his episode are flat out wrong, or intentionally misleading. Edit: I mean, his first example of a controversial episode that got made fun of was about how breastfeeding has little to no difference than formula, but it’s been proven that breastfeeding infants gives them elements of the immune system from the mother.
Carlos Caballero yeah, i think his issue is that he doesnt use enough concrete evidence, he solely relies on his anecdotes to back his claims. And dont get me wrong, they can be used but its soooo bad to rely on them more than objective evidence
The follow-up to that wasn't "listen to my anecdote" , it was "you should listen to the person I was speaking to who has studied this as a profession."
Alex Jones says a lot of crazy shit but most of it has elements of truth. He just tends to take shit to extreme levels or examples. But he's usually on to something.
I appreciate Joe trying create a balanced discussion, but all he had to say was "You keep giving anecdotal evidence from your friends, can you just take 5 minutes to cite a scientific study to reinforce these claims", and the beta would've folded

It's important to point out that the "strong" argument here is just Joe asking "Really?" and then cringing watching this guy scramble to try and provide a concrete answer. It was sad, dude.
He never proved anybody wrong though. He merely countered conservative talking points with skewed data. This guy has never had a debate or allowed his OPINIONs to be confronted.
