Theo doesn't get enough credit for being a brilliant interviewer. He not only was keeping up with Jordan intellectually, but lowered Jordan's guard and turned the podcast into a conversation between two buddies with funny banter; rather than an interrogation or just a simple Q&A like Jordan normally has to deal with. They have great chemistry and it seemed like Jordan really enjoyed the conversation and was having fun. I'd love to see these guys have a podcast together once a year or something. In my opinion, Theo interviewed Peterson better than anyone else has. Gang gang.

Dear Mr Peterson. My father was a cruel and unfeeling man. After watching some of your lectures and interviews, I realized I was looking for the wrong things in my romantic partners. @@Waddehaddedudeda nope, no good males in sight.. Unfortunately that's the case for a lot of women. I'm not unique. 50% of mothers in the US are single moms. And a significant percentage of the step dads that showed up try to molest you or beat you, like my step dad. The only respectable male I know is my younger brother. Out of curiosity, what were the wrong things that you were looking for? You wouldn't be looking for cruelty as a character trait so presumably you were looking for other things which in some way were related to that?
@carmengogeidnas9670
@carmengogeidnas9670 8 месяцев назад
@@CBfrmcardiff of course nobody looks for cruelty, maybe I misspoke because it's more about overlooking warning signs rather than seeking specific traits. Charming, charismatic and motivated are good things, but unfortunately a lot of narcissistic people also possess those qualities. Like a guy that flatters you often but also disrespects your boundaries. You overlook the disrespect because they apologize for it, but you don't realize until later that they were never apologizing in earnest, they were just trying to manipulate and control you, and the best way to do that was act like it was a (your) misunderstanding, or there's things you need to change because obviously you took it the wrong way..

Most of the "academics" he talks to are either possessed by their ideology, full of resentment, or both. That's what keeps them shut off from the world around them, and the only proactive action they take is searching for confirmation-bias. A (good) comedian is a lot easier to talk to because they're eager for new ideas and are not negative because their job is to laugh and make people laugh.

Jordan talking about being happy when meeting fans reminded me of when I met him after one of his biblical lectures. He had just spoken for over an hour on stage, took questions, then came outside to talk more with us because the venue had to close. It was late and he was clearly exhausted, but when I stopped him to get a photo and thank him he had the biggest smile on his face. I'll never forget that.

That was such a great thing to see. To see JP actually genuinely and thoroughly enjoy himself, throughout this whole thing. Must have been such a great weight off his shoulders to just chill.

My first time watching any of Theo's podcasts, a great introduction. Dr. Jordan is one of the greatest minds of our time, possibly in history. I honestly wish more people listen too him, we'll definitely get to a better place.

Respect the hell out of Theo for remaining himself and resisting the temptation to play the academic for this interview. He brought out a totally different side of Jordan.

I relate to this podcast so much. Im a recovering addict and the point that Jordan makes pretty much saved my life, although I realized it before listening to him. I realized that I needed something to strive and aim for and at the same time, something to run away from. I knew what my rock bottom was, I never wanted to return. That was a huge motivator to make the necessary changes in my life. Great podcast, god bless you guys. ❤

It really bothers me how people have demonized Peterson. He has been the best role model in my life and i am 29 years old. Its sad how someone so great, who is helping make the world better is shut down from speaking. Its sad that the people who need his advice the most are the ones who wont actually listen to him and try to destroy him

Connor Phebus how is he being shut down from speaking?

Jav, his book is banned in some countries, spoiled, entitled, misinformed students protest his speaking engagements (they must get triggered by his common sense), McMaster has banned him, and so on. Do your research.

A Layeghi SJW's, Feminists, and Liberals disagree with him so they do what they do best, try to silence or demonize him

Jav carulli Research the chilling effect. He’s been silenced very very minutely, because it hasn’t stopped him. The threat of hitpiece after hitpiece sent the message that he wasn’t welcome speaking. For anyone of less wisdom, prestige, or courage, this probably would have silenced them and you wouldn’t know them. It’s not wise to ignore the efforts even if they didn’t work. And they arguably did work, many people have a grave misinterpretation of him simply because they are leftists and leftist media demonized him. He could be helping even more people if he wasn’t painted in such poor colors by political activists.
