Dr. Hart says he doesn’t understand how someone could support Trump because Trump says things that are really mean. Joe ignores him and starts defending why those in the military like Trump, which has nothing to do with Dr. Hart’s statement.

Dr. Hart didn't like trump cause he is more concerned with how he, his loved ones, an community he associates feels, while completely ignoring the actual issues that plague our nation, society, institutions, and corporations. When you prioritize your political and social opinions over your understanding and knowledge of how the system that generates change, then you turn into a enemy of that system by definition.

I'm such a fanboy for Dr carl hart. He is so right on this issue yet the masses seem unable to grasp what he says they respond like the breakfast club did. Stupid people think smart people are crazy. He's not though. He's sane. He's on Point. We should have made these changes a decade ago and many of my friends and family would be alive.

Just because mdma is closely chemically related to methamphetamibe (or ketamine to pcp, or even antihistamines to antipsychotics) does not mean the effects are necessarily all that similar. They do have some overlapping effects, but also significant differences. I think most people familiar with pharmacology would believe Hart’s misrepresenting the truth at times here.

MDMA is a methamphetamine. it is not related to ketamine, PCP, Antihistamines or Antipsycotics lol. Who said that? Meth and MDMA have their Similarities, You also get the love for everyone on regular meth since it releases a bunch a serotonin too. Not identical or anything, but they are kinda similar.

He keeps talking about how much he likes spending time with his significant other when he’s high which makes me wonder if he has trouble connecting otherwise Or maybe sex on mdma is just fucking awesome

Well Joe, we can start by not vilifying users. People don’t use drugs because they “don’t like” their lives, although I’m sure there’s a few that fit that description. If you have EVER been poor, life can be wretched. But then there’s also mental and physical disabilities that opioids (and other “schedule” drugs) don’t just help…it’s the difference in being stuck in bed or in your house to being able to work a job and HAVE a life. Compassion is how.

the interesting thing about Codeine is that it works by being converted into morphine in the body. It's therefore a pro-drug. Heroin is also converted to Morphine by losing it's acetyl groups, but they get it into the brain across the blood brain barrier more effectively. The kid he was talking about who died with opioids and cocaine in his system, but low levels, could have died due to drug synergy, when both drugs are taken together, they potentiate each other (speedballs) the cocaine wears off first leaving the opioid to take over and stop respiration.

Sounds like an addict in denial to me because anytime Joe says anything that could be perceived at the heart of the issue and him saying that a small percentage of users of drugs are addicted is completely nonsensical because if you just look at the number of people in meeting attendance in your area and the numbers of meetings in your area going up all attended by people who just by there very choice to use drugs with all of the social pressure and illegality and social harm of doing them it means they’re rebellious towards the narrative in the first place. Also peep how this doctor doesn’t seem to understand that the reason he feels more agreeable and understanding when he uses opiates is because his testosterone levels tank and estrogen raises and also what he said about euphoric people and happy people don’t have reason to be angry and violent. Also just to be perfectly clear Joe, everyone should know that opiates making you feel at your best and leaving you feeling like the world is right and worry free is known by every addict that ever lived bc that’s legitimately the whole reason you become addicted in the first place but you should ask him what happens when you keep hitting the button in your brain over time and strengthening the neural pathways between your amygdala and your pleasure center and what happens after you screw with your rewards system long enough no Matter who you are, the reason you lose control over your intake is simply because of the fact that the part of your frontal lobe that controls the higher reasoning center gets pushed out of the equation and it becomes as much of a primal drive as water and food and your amygdala stimulates the craving in the same way that it does when your hungry or thirsty and what happens when you get hungry or thirsty for long enough, you’ll do anything to get water and food even canabolism. The reason this doctor thinks these things is because he’s still in the honeymoon period with drugs and hasn’t crossed over yet but no one can beat drugs by the very nature of the fact that you have no say in the matter at a certain point. Also his lab obviously wouldn’t allow him to give a dose to his test subjects that would satisfy the craving of the test subject and another thing that skews the hell out of those results is that those people weren’t paying for those drugs they were getting paid to do drugs and they didn’t face the same pressures as anyone in the standard world who uses another thing is just listen to this dude talk he’s obviously right on the threshold of opiate addiction and he should be head of marketing for heroin drug dealers

H-o-l-y shit, has this guy ever heard of proof reading. lol. I’m missing whole sentences and a bunch of punctuation. The first sentence was supposed to read *Anytime Joe asks a question which approaches the heart of the issue, his face seems to say, aww man I really thought by “Joe’s initial position that I sided with him on that he wasn’t gonna ask me a question that could cast doubt or negative lighting on this subject. I could just see that his defenses went up immediately and then he’s very closely approaching muddying the waters with misinformation here. Also , I meant to say this Dr. Carl is 100 percent correct that Euphoric people tend to not want to engage in conflict or some type of trouble making or anything like that and I 100 percent agree with that, from my life experience though anything that can instantly change the way I feel without any hard work or introspective thought followed by an action that had input offered by some form of council or life coach or pastor or family member that I trust, and is them compared against my thoughts and my life experience and knowledge to make sure that advice doesn’t just lead me completely astray, anything that does that without a lot of work on my part is invariably a risky solution to my problem and has a high probability of eventually causing me way more problems than the original problem that I sought an outside influence for.

no opiates does not make you less confrontational because it lowers testosterone. Yes it lowers Testosterone with daily use over several months, but the effect you described is due to how it mimics dopamine. I.E you feel great from it and therefore just want to have a nice chill time for yourself and others.
@Dwrecksk8Yo
@Dwrecksk8Yo 10 дней назад
@@Rocketman0407 Yes that is true initially, it eventually turns on you though due to the dopamine receptors adapting and becoming less sensitive to dopamine which then requires more and more opiate to activate those receptors in the same way and when you use opiates chronically( like when you’re 18 years old and after breaking S1 L5 L4 L3 and L2 in multiple places and completely crushing all the intermediary discs and the pain specialist puts you on 75mcg per hour fentanyl patches and 150 10mg oxycodone to start the pain management) 2 years later I was on 100 mcg per hour fentanyl patches and 150 15 mg roxicet and my pain actually increased, I became irritable 24/7 and basically everything that opiates alleviated or did for me reversed. Little did I know thats been documented in opiate studies since they started doing them, the increase pain sensitivity is called OIH and among multiple other methods of action one partial cause comes from the brains response to all of the activation of descending pain pathways from the rostral ventromedial medulla. Another likely cause is the spinal dynorphins increasing the amount of excitatory neurotransmitters which increases nociceptive input which basically means that there’s a temporary increase in communication between the pathways that send pain signals all over the body. Anyways that’s why I got off everything 8 years ago bc I definitely had reached some point where it had altered enough of my physiological chemistry and brain chemistry where I felt 100% angry all the time and I was in more pain than when I first took them. Over the past 8 years the shit that really helped me more than anything was changing my career completely from working inside and sedentary to outside and extremely physically demanding which keeps all of my Core muscles and really my whole body in a high level of conditioning and I’m in less pain than i ever have been.
