@@MrBurns0618 I honestly wish social media was obliterated. So many of us could be spending this time accomplishing our goals. It’s like cancer, and it’s got me!!
@@gauravaithmiaoure the one pointing it out while doing it. Thats like a smoker telling another smoker smoking causes cancer 😂 but also some of us are willingly on here for amusement not bc we're programmed or sheep like others
@@saintluka7834 because I'm pretty sure they've both said they're good friends many times. Also Joe's been on lexs podcast, something he wouldn't do for just anyone
Yep, generally nerds are people hyper focused on a specific field and they reach a very high level of expertise and knowledge. Inherently those are positive traits, the concept of being alone, and the stigma around it, changed drastically in the last 30 years. People are less sociable. That's not necessarily a good thing but nerds are more "normalized" due to that shift in society.
words don;t mean shit anymore. Like in French geek and nerd is reversed from the English definitions. Nerds used to be not cool than cool than not cool again. Geeks used to also be cool than not cool than everyone sort of is a geek because marvel. And also in French, geek is an insult. It's like someone who is disconnected from reality and consumes too much ficiton to the point where that's all he's interested in.
No lex was genuinely hurt that Joe called him a nerd lol you can tell he probably was called a nerd growing up and it still affects him today. Even though nerd is a kind of endearing term today you still hear Lex say "you don't think of a nerd as an ideal man" so you can tell what even he thinks of the term nerd.
@@xiRePeNTxI get it man. What helps me is to never take what people say personal, and just objectively look at what was said, even when someone is actually trying to offend you. Also makes it easier to fire back yk
He's arguing with no one though, Joe is agreeing that being a nerd is not a negative thing. Lex just automatically assumes he's using it negatively, which truly shows the bias of Lex and what he really thinks of nerds considering the first thing he thinks is that it's a bad thing and has to defend them.
@@1awesome180no he was definitely being negative.. Good for a nerd means it's not good if he was a "real man".. or whatever vernacular you want to use for a man who is too big and strong and unintelligent to be a nerd. Whatever word you want to use.
@@woutpauwels828he absolutely meant as a insult. Even if they were friends the way he said it was that even someone like THAT could get it, like the nerd is a different class of person. I agree with you he knew.
No humiliation whatsoever. If you listen to the full conversation they had on this topic, it was actually a profound example of two people who had somewhat of a disagreement and talked through it masterfully. Each man made his point and stood his ground while also being respectful and wholly receptive of the other’s opinion.
Be better? So not be into science or tech? Just be angry and want to fight people and watch sports and fuck girls? The idea that is better is farce, it's mostly perpetuated because most men are below average in intelligence. (If you add women into the equation of the average) Average woman is smarter than the average man. However men on the upper end of the intelligence spectrum are smarter than the vast majority of women and almost all men.
Actually no, I can tell that you are bothered not only by the NERD comment, but also by what I said about Lex.. We can all see how you found a way to internalize it and stand up against it because the victim in you simply won't stand for any more ABUSE, (and because you are safe hiding behind your small hands and even smaller little fingers. It's ok. Real men exist, we will survive and thrive for you, so you can continue to cry for all the sad people in the world. While you are at the front of the protest against testicles screaming about how you were forced to carry a pair, since you were a child, please remember that we don't care, we never have, and we never will. Your wives have always, and will always run to us. Please find solace in that when you fear for their future.
@@gusubu17 if you say so 😂😂😂 But honestly tho, I hope you're happier and less like the average Tate-fans in real life, than you come across here. Because this is honestly pathetic as fuck, no matter how "alpha" you think it is 😉 And hey, at least I have a wife 🤷♂️ or anyone who loves me, at all 😂
@@yoeyyoey8937 actually i confess im a big nerd on many things; star wars, cars (not the movie) thats about all i can afford to obsess over, one day i will advance to legos💀💀
I'm a female nerd. I've always been a nerd. It used to bother me when I was in school but now I am proud of who I am. I also like guys that are nerds. While I do find men who are handsome , alluring, I really feel that a smart guy is the most attractive guy.
Joe hit a painful spot for Lex. Deep down, Lex wants to control the world and people with lofty "intellect". Joe won't be controlled by words or nerds.
I always saw a nerd as the ideal of a man, or of a human being in general. Innovative, indipendent, dedicated to a craft, hardworking. (It might be myself trying to hype me up because I am autistic)
the difference between a nerd and being a nerd is that a nerd doesn’t exactly have goals to be in good physical shape, they rather just have goals they surpass mentally or within whatever field they’re interested in. but being a nerd means you just have a niche interest you’re highly knowledgeable about
What happened to the strong Americans who embraced what we were. When the British called us the Yankees or Yanks in a derogatory manner, we embraced it and made it an honor to be a Yankee.
Well as for me,Nerds are Nerds,Popular are popular,Attractive/Cool/Fun-loving & So on...Just like Gays are gays, lesbians are lesbians...But sayings Nerds aren't Men enough is not Appropriate sentence...its just a Word describing people on how they are & how they Look...They can be Manly But Looks like a Nerd to me...Simple as that.No Offence bros
I think what we need to do is realise that being a nerd isn't a bad thing and acting like being called a nerd is bad or using it as insults makes it seem like nerd are bad
