After finding out he did alot of cocaine I think it may have contributed. I don't think he was murdered. But what Raymond and Betty did when he died was suspicious. He wasn't looking after himself he almost died months before. He looked so thin when he did enter the dragon. Not healthy at all. Cocaine probably did that . Loss of appetite and all. It explains alot in documentaries when in one fred weintraub and Paul heller was saying he wasn't sleeping and turning paranoid. I think curse of the dragon. Bruce spirit was sent here to do the great things he did in so little time. There's never been anyone else like him. Just wished Brandon had lived longer what happened to him was unfair. A freak accident.
@@CeeDoubleU both tragic accidents, do some research instead of using the same thing others have said. Murdered ffs, yes Bruce was murdered but Brandon's was a tragic accident not done deliberately
Look...Nixon was president at the time...Golden Harvest is named for the Golden Triangle...Bruce had two nationalities and could travel easily. He was sent to Hongkong to secure an opium supplier for the CIA who were already in business with Nicaragua and Escobar and wanted to brach out. The first big heroin epidemic was in the 80's after the cocaïne eruption in the 70's. Theory? I wish. There are stories that the Triads even contacted the CIA themselves because they knew how Hollywood worked and wanted in. Laundering money is not so easy when you're talking millions a week...and if you leave your family behind in China..they are vulnerable. And that makes you vulnerable too.
Brandon said that before he finished filming The Crowz he would find out who really killed his father. Two weeks later, an "emergency" film shoot took place after hours where the murder took place.
It gets even more creepier when you realize that the Bruce Lee movie Game of death which was re-scripted and released in 1978, 5 years after Bruce Lee's death was exactly how Brandon Lee died.
@@adamantium4797you comment like a 14 year old iPad kid trying to be weird we know he’s dead how does your comment affect the statement made you just want to talk 😂
Joey is absolutely correct. I was a kid when Bruce Lee died. I like millions of kids around the world idolized him. And I never for a second believed he died the way they said. I remember my friends and I would say it just like Joey said it without hesitation. He was killed. And so was his son.
@@EXISTENTIALization nah. I think both of them felt like brothers to each other. But unless Jackie got forced into it. The triads target people by using other people and force that person by threatening their family. I think everyone will be forced to do anything if their family is in the line. Remember when Jackie was a die hard "free Hong Kong" from Chinese government? Then after awhile he switch sides. Bruh I guarantee you his family was threatened.
@bananabreadguy7960 I didn't say without significant persuasion. I know Chinese Triad doesn't play and that a vast majority of China's Gov has ties to them.
Golden Harvest went on to be huge cause they went into business with Warner Bros and Enter the Dragon was their first project together. The first ninja turtles movie was also Gokden Harvest. Run Run Shaw I don’t recall doing anything as big after the 70s
Chow was a publicist and worked for the Shaw brothers. He eventually worked into the production side of the business and later on left to form Golden Harvest. Although they were competitive film makers it was believed they had one thing in common, mob connections.
Golden harvest was Bruce lee productions which was earlier called as CONCORD PRODUCTION with BRUCE LEE 51% and RAYMOND CHOW 49%shares ..After Bruce lee death Raymond chow bought the rest and became the owner of Concord production and named it as GOLDEN HARVEST..Bruce wife had to sell it in 1976 since Raymond chow was not releasing Game of Death even after 5 years of bruce passing away in 1978
The actor who fired the gun that killed Brandon Lee was Michael Massee...he was a cool actor and overall nice guy, even though a lot of times played the bad guy due to his looks i suppose. He was devastated from that, i remember seeing an interview talking about it...he died in 2016.
@@dondread7363 Sounds spooky and conspiratorial when you put it like that but extortion stories targeting wealthy Hong Kong business people and celebrities were rife over there back in those times. The British turned a blind eye to a lot of black market activity whereas the Chinese government has cracked down on much of the "underworld" crap that was going on. Looking into some of the criminal backgrounds of the people who were involved in those studios is also a flag. These people were involved in trafficking, gambling, blackmail, etc.
His wife stated why he died in a documentary in like 2011... In which even Dana White was in and quoted saying that Bruce Lee greatly inspired UFC and MMA.
I genuinely believe that during the golden era of Hong Kong movies the organised syndicates had a big influence over the film industry that would today make for a good movie but we romanticse over how Bruce Lee was clean cut and never associated with the underworld
I have to disagree with Joey on this one. Hes a little too opinionated sometimes. Despite Bruce angering the martial arts community in the 60's, I don't believe any gangs had anything to do with his passing.
@@khairt1731 Yeah a very well known conspiracy theory. He wasn’t killed. He died from drugs unfortunately. These conspiracies always pop up when famous people die of drugs to this day.
Damn. This is back when the JRE was the shit and interesting guest would actually come to the show. Man I miss those days. Uncle Joey spitting baby!!! lol
You know interestingly enough, i read that Mannitol, the drug that was administered to Bruce Lee when He collapsed for the first time in May is sometimes used to treat poisoning, furthermore in Enter The Dragon, Bruce Lee was skinnier and His facial features were much more gaunt compared to how He looked in The Big Boss, Fists Of Fury and Way Of The Dragon, which was a telling sign of His declining health
For me Bruce died not for his pain reliever. Given by his female friend it's questionable. 2nd why it took so long to get Bruce on hospital. That's my question. Anyway it already happens. Bruce died in physical but his legacy. And memories remains forever. Thanks
Thankfully, Bruce Lee was able to actually sneak in a few movies just at the last 1.5 year of his life. Prior to that...there are zero movies, he was simply a veteran at live combat. In live situations he had fought; Black Belts, Pro Fighters, Ex military, Champions, 3rd degree Masters, Rival Martial Artists, and opponents that outweighed him by 100 pounds. His battle experience started in his teenhood as the leader of the Hong Kong gang known as the Tigers of Junction Street and the violence had lead all the way to adulthood. The few movies he DID get to make were only at the very last 1.5 years of his life which was a brief opportunity for him to report his life experiences and share his insights into live combat. He only made 3 little movies plus One Hollywood film, a very short attempt at films at that last 1.5 years of his life but we're lucky he at least made them just before he died to show us his insights on his life of hard combat. Sports Illustrated has ranked Bruce Lee in "the Top 50 Greatest Athletes of All Time", as he was able to raise unbelievable weights that pro weight lifters could not
@@rshirley23 : "In our training workouts I was surprised that he could lift much heavier weights than I could." -Bolo Yeung, Ten Year Hong Kong Body Building Champion. An American and Hong Kong co-production, it premiered in Los Angeles on 19 August 1973, one month after Lee's death. The film is estimated to have grossed over US$400 million worldwide (estimated to be the equivalent of over $2 billion adjusted for inflation as of 2022 [update]), against a budget of $850,000.
Bruce and Brandon Lee are not Dead ain't it's obvious that their deaths are made to look like foul play and they just put it out there I mean Linda Lee and her daughter walk around China without nothing happening to them the movie where is fights Wong Jackman is true to a extent the white guy is fictional but Bruce was being accepted into the powerful world of the monetary the monks and Brandon Lee wanted to be with his father but joining the monks would mean sacrifice they had to kill their characters in our reality to become a certified Monk in the monetary I mean why keep his daughter and wife alive so you mean to tell me his daughter would play ball to stay alive or would she sacrifice her life to find out what happened to her father and brother nope the monks don't allow women to join
First off no. And secondly no. And lastly, Bruce Lee ain’t alive. Unfortunately. 100% guarantee there isn’t any proof because it isn’t true. Nice story tho 👍🏾
@@blunt8085 you do know the world is a stage I mean JFK is jimmy Carter operation farmhouse was on RU-vid before they took it down it shows fake deaths fake assassinations for people who ain't dead just retired or a different character
@@blunt8085 you ain't neva lie monks don't do murder that's way far off of Buddhism depending on which one. But the majority of Buddhist monks are even vegan. They don't eat meat mainly veges , legumes, jackfruit for the meat substitute. That whole comment up top made no sense to me. The way they both passed away is sketchy but the Buddhist monks ain't about that life. Back when the warrior monks were around the training from what I know was brutal but those are the old ways. But his people weren't happy about him bringing sacred martial arts to the states.
pretty sure he went to a british hospital in HK. Doctor who treated bruce lee was called Don Langford, he was british, not that it makes a difference. He seems to think so for some reason.
According to a conversation between Bruce Lee's wife and Hanshi Jerry Piddington, she believed he died of a heart attack because he kept pushing the limits of physical fitness. She said he was even weighing out his food intake down to the gram. (For what it's worth).
Bruce died of too many corticosteroid injections. He injured his spine while bench pressing, and back then, steroid injection side effects/dosages were still unknown.
Lee was lured and poisoned, Betty called chow before the ambulance, chow called them when he got there, how hard would it be to orchestrate a false report in those days.
I buy it. People don't even comprehend just how smart criminals can be. Yes there are some dumb ones.. there's a hell of a lot more smart ones that are outside because of it.
@@chocolatetownforever7537 Bruce left to go work with Hollywood which angered the Triads since he was their cash cow, and 10 days prior to his death, Lee and Lo Wei (involved w triads) got into a heated exchange which led to Lee pulling a knife on him There’s a lot more to this but all in all, it was really the Triads
LOL at all the conspiracies. I'm as huge a Bruce and Brandon fan as there is. Visited their gravesite numerous times over the past 35 or so yrs etc. Bruce died from an allergic reaction, it happens. The only conspiracy was the fact he was cheating on his wife. Brandon died because people cut corners on that movie set. Simple, but careless series of events took his life. There isn't any more to any of it. People make it out WAY more than it actually is. It's like Bruce's wife's book that they based "Dragon: The bruce Lee" story on. I own it, have read it many times. The only thing the movie got right, was Bruce was male, and he was a martial artist............everything else was so bent out of shape just to add intrigue. It's ridiculous. It even threw in the "curse" bullshit. Jesus.....just let those men rest.
@@cronezone787the shocking truth is that really a lot of people go by "he said" logic while they are even lying themself. Also the same mistake here again! Who believes this guy cuz he says he s a Bruce and Brandon fan? By countering that stupidity you get a victim of it and thats the baddest trick!
that is what i believed and still believe but i i have come to the conclusion that there could be something else involved here, he really did make some enemies, he can be hot headed during his younger days, he was not very people pleasing either, so i won't be surprised if he was really killed.
How is it that I've lived off maccaroni n cheese, nicotine, thc and alcohol for decades and apparently I'm in better shape than Bruce Lee? I don't have seizures. I don't have a jacked up back. I'm older than he was. Maybe y'all should make movies about my fat burrito ass.
