I really like Mel Gibson... if every dumb thing I'd said during a breakup or while drunk was made public people would probably dislike me too but he's clearly a decent person and one of the greatest living filmmakers.
For sure. To everything you said. Sometimes I'll think back to a situation where I said something particularly obnoxious and I cringe at myself. Luckily my inner thoughts are not blasted all over the internet for everyone to judge. It is in fact possible to be a good guy who's occasionally a horrible guy.
So yeah you are likely to suffer from Anxiety and stress and catch whatever is on the seat that a sick person had in their visit. Hospitals, not the best vibes but ignoring every issue isnt always the best if there isnt any relistic goals to a healthy lifestyle. As for stem research...yeah... sounds like a big Pharma issue to not have a potential diamond treatment to Americans ...hell we cant barely get the minimum
really speaks to Mel's character that he wanted to go on the show, not to talk about himself, but to let people know about a therapy that he finds really incredible and believes could help a lot of people
@@onbored9627 As you go older you just come to terms with everything around you like every single thing. At first it's exhausting then you just start dropping things you never really cared about or doesn't really help you "like everything from bad habits to bad food to bad people" till your left with the things that you actually care about and actually helps you and for some reason you start living your best life that you wished you'd have done it sooner like age 25 sooner. When you start believing in just good food and just not living in excess you will get healthier and you start thinking straighter and it's just all fine and dandy after that like Rogan himself he keeps his health in check so he's sharper and overall if your in good shape your just less depressed and you can manage the bad thoughts better. Good health leads to a sharper brain, not saying depression is a trivial thing but it gets easier if your taking care of yourself better.
I had a Peripheral Stem Cell Transplant to treat stage 4b Lymphoma. The short version is they harvested my own cells, nuked me with high dose Chemotherapy, then reintroduced my stem cells when my body had all but shut down. 23 years later, I was able to see my children grow into amazing adults and I met the woman of my dreams. Needless to say, but pro stem cell guy right here. ✌
@@luisespinal2706 I received treatment at Maine Medical Center in Portland Maine. The stem cell transplant cost $53k over 20 years ago, but I had insurance so I paid a fraction of that. Small price to pay to get my life back I dare say.
My brother-in-law (a retired veteran) came back from Iraq with severe back pain. It was hard to watch him walk. He also lost his sight in 2019. He had a stem cell injection that has totally helped his back. Nobody said anything to him about his eyesight, but he has regained most of it back too.
Did he get his VA BENEFITS ???? I sure hope he did God bless all our fellas that went into that HELL over there. I am Veteran myself the VA would never referr us VETERANS to get this because it works!!!
@@edwardovargas he went to a diet clinic in Scottsdale Arizona. I shouldn't have said injections because the procedure is much more complicated than that. If you want I can try to figure out the name of the place and approximate cost.
I had stem cells from Regenexx in Denver 11 years ago in my hip ( when the procedure was still allowed in the USA). It was a MIRACLE! Everyone thought I was crazy because insurance would not pay for it. I’ve seen so many people since have hip replacement surgeries with complications including femur fractures and leg lengths discrepancies thus making it difficult to walk and causing problems and stress on other joints. Fortunately, my stem cell procedure was a success although the 3 orthopedic surgeons all told me it was bogus and “if it was working don’t you think I would Be doing it?”
That a reputable company. That procedure you had is no longer legal in the US …big pharm told the government’ once you take stem cells out the body and multiply them , it is considered a drug.’

@@jessiemorrison4425 The flu only kills slightly less than Covid again mostly the elderly and people with on-going medical conditions. So why didn't they lock it all down for the flu? More people died in the UK in August from suicide. My own mother a nurse has seen doctors putting covid as cause of death on death certificates even though they had not benn diagnosed with it. So the actual death numbers of Covid will be even less than our posionus media claim. The virus is mostly BS.
Love how celebs sitting with Rogan are so down to earth and feel like they can finally just relax and be themselves.Joe brings out the best in people... what a legend thanks Joe and Mel both legends thats why i searched for this cheers guys
I think many of us would be the same kind of host and ask meaningful questions. Real. Not like the clowns we have now like Kimmel and Colbert. Bending to whatever wind that blows. lol
What I like too is that he doesn't get too caught up favouring celebrities either and will give the other guy a fair go to say his piece for the sake of the overall interview. I think at one point Mel Chimed in when the Doctor hadn't finished his point and Joe instantly steered the conversation back to focus on what the Doctor was saying.
For sure!! At least for those who left the Matrix and don’t anymore believe without question the smoke that mainstream media blows up our asses. Unfortunately not enough of us.
people can say what they want about Mel, but, a son doing any, and everything in his power to help his father live as long as humanly possible is beautiful. Always been a MG fan, and now even more so. Class act sir
Days ago, I completed the stem cell treatment in Panama. Thank you Joe for this podcast! I had been healthy, but was permanently damaged from a Covid induced heart attack, and I’m seeking 100% recovery. The stem cell clinic was awesome!
@@FreedomOfSpeech1.0 at the Stem Cell Institute in Panama. The same as the RU-vid video above. Stem cells saved my life. I'm alive again. Yet I need a second treatment because I want 100% recovery. Best wishes...
I remember in the early 1980's, Mel's dad appeared on an Australian game show called 'Sale Of The Century'. The show was about, rapid general knowledge questions, and his dad did very well, being the carry over champion for about a week (just missing out on the top prize). I was young at the time, but the memory of a charming man, stays in the mind. Funny, what little things you remember.
If stem cell therapy was widely available in the USA more than half of the pharmaceuticals prescribed today would disappear within years. The medical system here is motivated by profit. There's no monitary value in the long run for stem cell therapy and that's a very sad and immoral reality
The idea that stem cell use is some how immoral is a lagit joke it would be immoral if you killed a person or an infant for that specific reason sure but I'm guessing that's not how they get there stem cells
I remember when Mel was " kinda washed up " according to Hollywood... then I saw Apocolypto. - whether you are religious or agree with the themes and message or not "Passion of the Christ" was so raw and moving.
Taking my daughter to STI next Saturday. Praying begging for a miracle. She is 25 and clinical trials for her condition for stem therapy here starts at age 30.
@@cruesteele15 she has had 1 hospital stay in 2 years, since treatment. She did not have a major improvement in function however she had complete stability. She had a hospital stay every other month leading up to her treatment. Looking forward to round 2.
Rogan is intelligence and so is his humor. You have to pay attention and listen. He uses humor to exploit certain things with out being an alarmist or without drawing too much attention. You have to be sharp to get him.
I have to thank Joe and Mel for this interview stem cell works!!!!! After watching this video I did the stemcell treatment for my hip nerve damage...6 weeks later I am a new man!!!! Thanks Mel and Joe
I had hip replacement surgery and ended up with nerve damage and almost 5 months later I still cannot walk. I would love to know where you went and not to be nosey but about how much it cost? Thanks
After being paralyzed at 20, things messing up pretty much every 5 years for me since and me needing MRIs recently because I have a new issue I'd love to try some stem cell therapy, I'm going to have to research trials in the UK.
Mel Gibson is great. I told my friend that I was a huge Mel Gibson fan and he said "wow, don't you know he's an anti semite !" I said, 'that's not the only reason I love him'.
That's such an ignorant position, omg. Mel aside, anyone who has anxiety basically drinks, and the reason is purely physiological. Alcohol is one of the best anxiety anaesthetics there is, that is in general reason why ppl drink after work or in manny occasions, it has nothing to do with social occasions. Try walking through the crowd in London downtown pubs after 4pm, you'll get drunk just by walking through the crowd and all the fumes in the air. Anyway, my point, actors deal in emotions, that is literally their trade, and the better they are they deal in more complex and more dangerous emotions (ie. Heath's Joker, any Daniel day Lewis role, Marlon Brand apocalypse now, cmon...) so first thing that can happen is, obviously, you lose control, can't handle it, and then you drink or use drugs. I don't understand how ppl expect actors to navigate all these complex life simulations on screen, they blow our minds, and then we are surprised it takes a tool on them? And that's without the pressure of fame, success and all that BS, and Mel well he's seen it all, hasn't he. I don't believe we can have great art without pain or suffering, so I don't find it surprising when ppl producing art try to deal with their pain anyway they can.
this is so interesting, the attitude we currently have to like/dislike someone, idk your friend why he/she thinks someone is not likeable for having a bad habit or a character flaw? we are all flawed in some way, but it seems like in 2021 u have to be literally perfect in everyway to just exist in the world...................
I wished I had seen this for my dad when he got prostate cancer. Wished the medical would educate a person about this like they do chemotherapy. I never was approached at all for this fir my father. The cancer spread through his whole body and bone within two years. Thank you Mel for getting this out there. By the way I think your an amazing actor, director and all around a normal person
Had a stem cell treatment done for my neck pain which I had for about 8 years... that was May of this year and I have been pain-free for the last few months now. It's unfortunate that it did not work for you.
I had stem cells from a healthy delivered placenta along with my own blood plasma injected into my knees. An MRI had shown I had two torn miniscus and a bone spur in my left knee and I had arthritis in both knees. I was 64 years old and was in a lot of pain. The stem cells cured my knees! I am now 66 and my knees are like brand new! They healed! It really does work.
Swindian Medwell in Midland Park NJ Phone is 201-689-0871 I had it done 2 years ago and it was $7,500 total for both knees. One would have been $5,000. Insurance doesn't cover it, but it did cure my knees!

I saw Mel at a movie theater in my town about 20 years ago. I really wish I went and chatted with him as he was standing outside the theater himself. I was pretty young and have often regretted not taking that opportunity. I just recall seeing the guy I grew up watching in movies and the last thing I would have wanted was to give him a bad impression.

I'm 68, 6' tall, 170 lbs, worked harder last 15 yrs than in my 30s. Walk considerably, daily, including broken terrain. I cook from scratch. No prepared foods. Lots of garlic and yogurt. No fast food. NO DOCTORS. Even cured MRSA with garlic, internally and a compress. And still young strong. Sorry about your bad choices.
Mel Gibson’s father was a Holocaust denying, anti-Semitic, far-right conspiracy theorist wackjob. Why does anyone give a fuck about him or his asshole son? Great booking, Joe 🤦🏻♂️
Mel Gibson was just born to be an actor. He got the physicality, the voice, the expressivity and all the stuff needed. Too bad he is seen not so often now on the big screen.
When you have seen the EVIL things that he saw happening for years in Hollywood, and had to deal with, it's amazing that he has come through it! I believe before he passes he will either do a movie or write a book about the EVIL IN HOLLYWOOD!
Stripper and all of you commenting negatively and wrongfully, I'm not Jewish, nor am I defending them by replying as I do, but you sound like a discriminating, prejudiced bigot to make such a comment. Even Mel himself, (who I greatly respect and admire and always have) had apologized for his remarks towards them. Look what Christians have done throughout history. Pick up a history book. Christianity even started off as an underground cult. Look it up. Dark ages,. crusader times,.. fuck you ignorant pieces of shit. omg how did Joe get Mel Gibson on? Holy shit. And btw I never stopped liking Mel. I was too young to understand the controversy at the time and thesedays I couldn't really give a shit about it as I know it wasn't based on some sort of 'deep insidious hatred' or whatever: it was a fuckup, something we all do from time-to-time. Constant Throwing 1 . It was a racial slur . Dont belittle it cause its in the past i see white privilege is strong with you . 2. You are very ignorant and need to educate yourself i get you dont care but when it happens to you dont look around like Mel Gibson 3.i love Mel Gibson and im black so dont think im hating on the guy. And if you ask how you are whitr privileged, its because you know it was wrong it was a racial slur and you still deemed it a "fuck up" and "it happens" you dont just say racist things my guy. Get your sentences and life in order
People keep talking about the slur.. did people forget that Gibson knocked his ex-girlfriend's tooth out while she was holding their daughter? He's not a good guy.
If you are going to use a term like "white privilege" unironically, just stay out of the conversation. If you are going to say "you are a different race from me therefore I know better" than you really have no leg to stand on when trying to judge someone else for racism. If you think it's ok to say "You are white so you need to listen to me on this issue" that's your choice, but then don't expect anyone else to shed a fucking tear over your feelings because you feel like something someone else said was racist. You don't get to beat a guy's head in with a brick and then point fingers at someone else for being too aggressive.
I have been interested in topics like this since the late 90s. I worked for a catering company in Chicago. I had been reading info like this from various sources. The company I worked for had contracts with Northwestern and Loyola medical schools. I got ask administrators questions based on the info I was reading. One event was for a graduating class. I asked the administrator if they would be the new healers or prescription writers and she said they would be the latter because unfortunately some people have to die. I had been telling my co workers about the things I was reading and they thought i was going a little nuts maybe. When the administrator gave me the answer I was standing next to one of the event managers. I turned to her and said did you hear her, she said yes and wooow. I said that's what I've been talking about she said I know. I wish that people did their own research when they hear stuff like this and don't just let some entity tell them it's non sense. But I understand the energy and effort that went into getting the majority of people to think in this manner and not question anything the system doesn't direct them to.

My Great Aunt was super old. I am not sure how old but like 109 or something. The oldest living person in Canada until she died. Her name was either klassen, friesen or peters. She said her longevity was due to not worrying, seems kind of wise to me though. I would like to think its genes but then I smoked and did so much worse so I probably have burnt out anything that will elongate my life. Mel Gibson is such a great actor. One of the best IMHO
I fell in love with Mel and you will too. In a movie called "Tim" he did as young man. Beautiful blue eyes make you melt. His acting ability was evident then.
Mel's right about hip surgery at that age. It's not the surgery that kills an elderly person, but the loss of muscle that happens afterward, including the potential blood clots from being immobile so long if the patient isn't strong enough to move around on their own.
@@robdcollector2808 it's stupid. You would think the insurance companies would be all over this because if they're shelling out less money per person, they're making more money. I think it's the pharmaceutical companies that are in the way of this kind of treatment. Instead of pushing the same old shit year after year, why don't they find a way to market this themselves?
I may be wrong, but I think it’s because people have a weird misconception (no pun intended) about stem cells. The are a lot more awakened as soon as it might help someone they love.

Mel's only kept his Dad alive, graced his own Dad with MORE LIFE - this tells ye what KIND of son (and Man) that Mel Gibson is. Increases his Dad's/family's life spans - quality of lives - unbelievable.
Plus has his own firmly-held religious belief's - giving tons of money towards Spirituality/Helping Others. "A run-in on PCH does not define Mel Gibson." If it does it defines ALL of us - cuz we've all been on PCH. . .
