Joe Rogan discusses the Germaine de Randamie's controversial win over Holly Holm after repeated late strikes after the bell. Featuring Brendan Schaub, Bryan Callen, and Eddie Bravo. Taken from Joe Rogan Experience #916
Awe, my heart is broken. 😢 "Holm is such a sweet person, such a classy person, she should have won." The reality is........ she was out classed on every level in this fight. Totally! And there were 3 ringside judges who agreed.
@@johnathan5291 I really think they should do the yellow card because fighters often get away with things because they know they can but they don’t care about getting scolded by the ref or having points deducted because it doesn’t really affect them unless they lose the fight
I'm here after watching HH getting a dominant main event win & GDR getting her first sub on the card last night (or this morning)...#1 & #2 are still #1 & #2 in UFC women's bantamweight. The champ Nunes is taking some family time and already beat both of those ladies. Meanwhile, the UFC MUST make that rematch b/t them at the more logical weight & have them settle their score & hash out who gets a 2nd crack at Amanda Nunes.
I think people over judge those 2 shots after the bell. I've heard many fighters, commentators, and people "in the industry" all say that the fighters job is to fight and defend until the ref stops them. The bell or air horn is not always heard by the fighters (especially 2 seconds after a stunning head kick). The first elbow is part of a combination that began before/at the bell and combinations just flow naturally for some people. The second one as I said, she just took a head kick and got dropped to a knee, it was probably pure adrenaline pushing her forward.
That's total bullshit If u are a professional then u aren't supposed to let a headlock be your excuse for hitting after the bell And even though holly got cheated the first time she just walked away But de randamie did it a second time and purposely cause she laughed and showed her tounge
Bulllllllshit Jermaine had 72 more punches and in slo mo punches after the bell were all of .04 seconds after the bell. That's not as big as they are making it. And as others have said this happens ALOT just so happens this one was caught by joe and blown out of proportion. Joe is why so many people got behind this unusually agree with him but not here.
@@shemarhall2296 you stupid fuck I guarantee I know more about the ufc and fighters history than your dumbass does. You probably wasnt even watching that fight, I was and at the time hardly anyone noticed it. It damn sure didnt change the outcome of the fight. I love how you morons dont count the (72) more punches she landed lol yeah that had nothing to do with it...
