@@eZike-uq6jn No, not quite. The difference here is that you ask questions when you don't know; you don't constantly interject with statements and invalid assessments.
@@TonyMontana-fs3lu Look him up, he gets paid to make you laugh. It's this new job, you may not have heard of, called Comedian! Pretty funny stuff if you ask me.
We don't have any proof if this giraffe was doing what they said it did. It could be a cop out. Because if this slimebag actually thought she was doing the world a favour she wouldn't pose with it in full influencer regalia. And even if the giraffe was dangerous as they say it's still a nature's way. Human meddling isn't.
@@MyaB1986 hey I don't know if you knew this but humans are part of nature, we didn't manifest from the ether. So if killing is part of nature and we are part of nature then the only thing unnatural about the whole thing was taking the picture.
@@BoutYoungAnnaLee the better question is why a a step dad or contractor at all? Lmao. Mouse to human would have got the crazy unnecessary msg across. Say no to drugs.
So your the person that sees someone get beat up by police and just guess what happened and then get pissed at the police which equals police getting killed
"You could get a little cup of corn and you don't even have to know how to read very well and you can feed a giraffe point blank" Lol wtf this is great
It sounds like it was killing off the competition so it could mate with the females himself, so he himself is carrying on the population , it's nature , keeping the population strong, killing that strong Bull could potentially make the next generations weaker . Man shouldn't intervene in these circumstances because it could just make things worse.
@@genericallyaccepted About what ,human intervention ? I don't know, it's a subject I don't really know enough about to comment it seems so I'll quit there, lol.
Should have taken the giraffe to a rehabilitation center so he could learn to manage his anger. Probably has some deeply rooted issues from his childhood that a giraffe psychotherapist could help him get through. You would need a really long couch though.
And don't forget all the hardworking American's that would have to pay for that center, couch and psychotherapist. It definitely wouldn't be the liberal SESSY's you see posting here.
As a hunter myself I only hunt animals that are abundant, and are eaten and used every part of. I don’t however agree with trophy hunting, but in this instance, the giraffe was gonna be culled by rangers to protect other young breeding males to grow the population. The fact that this lady paid a lot of money to hunt it only benefits conservation and impoverished African communities.
Gary Murphy.... you forgot to mention that you would NOT have taken a trophy picture next to an endangered species no matter the reason. Why have anyone having this conversation over a picture.
"Giraffes are so gentle" Have you actually seen two male giraffes fighting? They hit each other in the neck with their horns and attempt to break each other's necks by blunt force, look up a video, its brutal
Joe trying to be serious and get a message across and Theo talking about not needed to read to feed a giraffe and killing step dad's and contractors. We need to keep Theo safe at all costs.
Why is everyone being so harsh on the guest? I kind of like how it’s just regular guys having a conversation, we don’t have to be pretentious all the time.
The JRE comments are some of the worst on youtube. Its quite annoying since its an amazing podcast that should inspire legitimate discussion in the comments, but instead its just a bunch of racists and idiots arguing about random shit. Its pathetic.
@@ouroboros5793 nature strong will survive. The older bulls killing the younger ones for thousands of years absolutely played a role in how giraffes are and came to be. Destroying there territory is the real problem. I have no solution in mind for that though
@@Travel_Cebu222 For thousands of years... until now. It was most certainly a problem for that bull to live. He wasn't strong enough to survive against a gun
"Now, I wanna get a mouse, now I wanna get a step-dad, now I wanna get a...contractor" I think we got a glimpse into his subconscious in that sentence...
Poachers aren’t hunters, don’t muddy those waters. In fact, people who pay thousands and thousands of dollars just for an opportunity to hunt anything over in Africa are funding armed anti-poachers.
Kapten Action in this case it was conservation and why not let someone pay big $ to shoot it. In many places in Africa the guides are very selective of what animals you shoot and it's not a free for all. Look at ducks unlimited, ran by hunters and it works.
Um... We don't even know how poachers there were. The guy said " there wasn't much left of them ". When I read the story, they didn't know if it was two or three poachers...
There isn’t anything relaxed about giraffes in Africa. My professor was on the receiving end of a kick to the head from a giraffe in Africa. Killed him instantly.
We went to the zoo yesterday, and we saw the giraffes. One of them was trying to reach for some leaves but he couldn't reach it. He started climbing on rocks but still couldn't reach. He gave up cause he knew falling in the trench around his tiny living quarters wasnt worth that leaf. So, he just stood there, with a really sad look on his face. It broke my heart.
"and this is my taxidermed mouse" "O that's different, cool cool" "this is my.. step dad" "OH... was is like a personal thing?" "and this is my contractor..." "😳i have a thing at this thing for this thing"
I was an intern at a Zoo once and letting children get near them is insane. One of them just needs to have a bad day and be stressed and bad things will happen. Giraffes attack with their heads and their legs and we humans have no chance of survival if we get hit by one of them.
Dragonmark they use their head as a mallet. However people do survive, I watched a guy get ambulanced out of the Columbus zoo when a giraffe was startled and jerked his head.
Did you watch the video? It was killing young male bulls, who would've killed him anyway. These things fight to the death. Giraffes are gentle in zoos, it has nothing to do with competition between males within the species.
basedgarrett it’s not the killing it’s Who he’s killing. Future daddy’s to keep the population going. OG is no longer helping the population he’s ending it. Understand?
Thank you for clearing up this issue, it's good to hear both sides of the story...by the way great broadcast and topic. I've decided to start podcasting for the first time and its exciting but, at the same time unfamiliar territory. J O E R O G A N... be well.😎
It's like you paid attention only to the first half of what he was saying. He said they seem gentle or appear gentle but people don't realize its killing the young bulls.
@ZenComplex "When I see a Giraffe, I don't think of it as something I want to shoot and eat, because I see it as something a little kid can feed at the fucking zoo, because they're so gentle. They're so gentle that they let people feed them." - Joe Rogan
They can kill a lion with a single kick to the head and use their skulls as weapons when competing with other males. They swing their heads at each other with the same force as a sledgehammer being swung.
Hunters pay for the conservation anti-hunters only talk about. Who loves animals more? The hunter that spends countless hours in the wild studying them, planting food plots, grooming habitat, watching for diseases, thinking about predator control, monitoring birth rates and survival rates, photographing, filming, and paying sizable portions of their own money to help the government do the same on a bigger scale or the schmuck that whines on RU-vid comments and donates $5 to PETA.
@Nate Crowson depends on what you're doing but between 30 and 1000 dollars. I average 500 dollars per year on different states hunting and fishing permits but the individual cost vary greatly
Nate Crowson and typically these people that go to africa to hunt pay over $10,000 to hunt the animals, the money goes into the village and conservation, helping people and animals
I would say a hunter who only does all those things in order to be able to kill animals is only doing those things to exploit them. That aint love, its narrow self interest. But hey, Im a schmuck because I have an opposing view from you, so what do I know? Some day your position will change, and I will welcome you back into the fold of humanity.
