Roseanne is not racist. She instilled a sense of pride to lower class hardworking families. Showed us there is meaning in our suffering. Complimented our plight nicely with humor. An American treasure. God bless her.

I don't like the way she got screwed over, since she's a comedian and comedians should be able to say anything, just like any American is able to do because of the first amendment. And you have to take into account that she's an admittedly mental health sufferer, so of course she's going to be unpredictable. I hope she gets properly medicated and gets another show if she wants one, and I hope it's successful. 🧐
Roseanne is a wonderful person with a beautifully hilariously crazy personality that she blessed us with. It's truly sad that she was misunderstood, and attacked. Judged guilty by ramped offended gossiping bored people. She should be shining with, ever brighter than most celebrities.
I love Roseanne and her show is one of my all time favorites. I watched the re-launch but when she was forced to leave I stopped. I own the original series and watch it frequently. She is definitely not racist and it’s really sad that people went after her.

Will always love her! I grew up watching Roseanne and I used to set my VCR to tape the show when I had to work after school. They did her dirty. Stopped watching the reboot without her. How dare they and how dare the remaining cast members still continue the show without her. SHE MADE THEM. Hope she is able to move on and find happiness.
Her original show addressed issues that were way before their time, while being about a poor/low-class family ( a fact many never realized) . A comedian who is into politics and tweets about it will eventually say something that everyone can jump on. Not defending the tweet that got her kicked off her own show & network, but so much worse is said by everyday people. The price of being a celebrity! Fact that she is known for that one tweet more then her singing Star Spangled Banner is Amazing! Never thought that wouldn't be her most infamous moment.

She pretty much gave them all the careers and names they have now by taking a chance on them and having her show. The only one that was respectable was John Goodman, he refused to talk bad about her when this all happened and when he did say something it was sympathetic and trying to explain she meant no harm and what a good person she is. The original Roseanne had so many episodes on TV that had good life lessons and handled difficult subjects like race, homosexuality, etc. These were subjects that no other show would even think of touching at the time, and if they did like The Ellen show, it was protested by many and then canned. Roseanne insisted on having these shoes, often that's what caused the fights in the writers room that we heard about that were spun to make Roseanne sound like an out of control nut. But here it was her fighting to show episodes that would address what's going on in the real world, difficult topics, and would know that families watched the show together so it would kind of be the opening to have that conversation as a family or with your kids. She did more for the good of people and equal rights than any of these SJWs have ever done, and look how quickly they have dismissed everything she's done or say it doesn't matter or count!!!! It's bullshit and insanity.

I'm still team Rosanne! 😇 She had a profound and innovative show in the late 80's the show hit close to home in many ways growing up in a middle class family. Having normal people on the show as well as a vast array of gay, bi and many different races. Her show was amazing period. Never saw the new show The Conor's. I watch reruns. I love you Roseanne! When I was a little girl, my mother left me. Im from a working class family, so I really related to the show and the characters. I would watch and pretend she was my mom. As I grew, I learned what an amazing and beautiful woman she is and loved her even more! Joe is right, shes an easy target, always has been and its really sad how shes been treated by ABC. They fucked with her way back in the day too, so I'm not surprised that they jumped on the opportunity to fire and make an example out of her. The sensitivity of this country is ridiculous! She will come up from this, the Conners won't.

I know shes not racist. In fact she stands for equality and fought to bring that to her creation in the show. So the tweet seemed inappropriate, i get it. What pisses me off is if they spent just 5 min researching Roseanne, they’d know that her tweet was taken outta context. What REALLY pisses me off is that reruns of my fav show Roseanne is what i watched before bed and also in the mornings and the networks have gone so far as to stop airing them altogether yet last fucking week I’m flipping through channels and come across the fucking Cosby show! I was so offended and just plain mad. Roseanne you’re amazing and your show was way ahead if its time and it will remain relevant for years to come. Im sick about what happened and you don’t deserve it. As a die hard fan, I’m offended by the network just killing off the character that you created and shaped over the years. The new show wont last. How can it? You ARE the show! I thank her for sharing her gift and there will never be another Roseanne series. Even if the reboot wasn’t cancelled, nothing beats the original series.
